Graphics looks like Fallout 4 and there are some frame rate issues. Music and sounds were a standout out for me. For being a game set so close to the Fallout I expected a more destructive environment but the WV setting looks varied and colorful. It’s a buy for me but it pretty always was.

I am very satisfied with what I saw of Fallout 76. I am so excited I can save $ for passing the game.

I canceled the digital pre-order I had. I only got it for the Beta, so I might still get access. Either way, the previews looked boring IMO.

So... I've been thinking about the negativity this game seems to be getting. At first I thought people were overly critical, I thought Bethesda should've been hailed for trying something different instead of just going for ES - fallout - ES every 5 years... but.... looking at it with more cynical eyes and one could make an argument for them using already made assets making a "new" game that's basically fallout 4 without a thought out world with good side quests and just putting it on servers to let gamers "make their own stories"... because they didn't want to put out the time or money on it. Haven't looked into the dlc/microtransaction deal here, but if they start with loot crates and expensive clothes or horse armor as a big part of the progression, I'll prob never play this game.

I got my beta invite for XBox. I'll probably give it a whirl for a few days before Red Dead, but have no real plans on buying 76.

I am a big fallout fan, evidence by my active posting at the fallout 4 thread. i put over 100 of hours & even runs multiple mods. This game get me interest near 0%

This beta will determine whether I cancel my pre-order. I'm very close to it anyway based on the prior stress test. Just boring.

I have decided not to buy this, when it was announced I wasn't really interested but the E3 presentation was so well done it convinced me to give it a try. As time has gone on though the game just doesn't appeal to me enough to buy it.

I’m still halfway through F4 and would like to finish that one day (loved it). As much as I was excited for this during E3, doubt I’ll get this game anytime soon. Will catch it on sale liked I did with ESO down the line. I hope it turns out good.

Seems like alot of the big publishers are starting to move away from Steam. Can't really blame them.
Stream charged a royality fee. It wasn't revealed to public but I reckon it has increase over the years & comparable to the consoles. I said it as the price of PC games are nowadays are no/not much different from boxed console games with bigger cost.

Never allow a company to have monopoly, not matter how much you like the company.

Watched some streams. Looks a bit boring so far. The draw for me was the side stories and human interactions. Maybe over time it'll grow into something I'll like. For now, really no interest.

Impressions on Resetera are very positive for the people that are playing the Beta, a 180 degree turnaround almost from the last build.

Yeah I know. I'm guessing alot of the big publishers/developers got tired of Valve taking 30% off the top.

No one like such someone taking such a big chunk of their revenue. The difference is, big publishers have the finanicial power to point the middle finger & says no. Small indies have no choices but hammer their own foot.

That's because you aren't shopping on cdkey websites. I haven't paid full price on brand new titles/pre order titles in years.

Got BFV on preorder for 43 dollars.

Yea most of my PC games are purchased through CD Keys, Green Man, etc instead of through Steam.

Finally tried the beta yesterday and I liked it...yes it hitches at times, even on the 1X,yes there's a lot of glitches, yes HDR is bare bones, but after playing almost 2 hours and reaching level 5 and getting use to the controls and all again,I was having fun..beta is 7 hours this afternoon, starts at 2 EST,if anyone is in there and wants to group up to try the social stuff,I will be on for like 3 hours before supper...

I've been a negative energy with this here game. But... watching people play this and I'm starting to understand why no human npc's. I'm now hyped for this. Day one.

I don't care about fallout, honestly, and I'm annoyed they are making this and not pouring everything into the next Elder Scrolls...

I finally got to give it a try. Much better than expected. I had some glitches but it was fun.

36 GB update/patch on the XBox,downloading right now, they added the last 2 dates for the beta, tomorrow for 2 hours at 2 EST and Thursday from2 again till 8.

The BETA shockingly convinced me to get the full game, despite issues I will encounter. I had more fun playing the BETA in solo mode than I did the full game in Fallout 4. The world is much, MUCH more interesting. I plan on playing solo until about level 10-15 then cooping with my friends. The absence in NPCs turned out to be positive because I found the NPCs in other fallouts to be dumb and uninteresting 99% of the time.

Wow...

Fallout 76's day one install will require 96.6GB of space. Considering the core game is 45.04GB, that means the day one patch is an eye-watering 54.641GB.

That video is a must watch.
