Need to be online to save career progression. Other modes available offline.
The career mode sounds interesting. You don't have to spend money on car part upgrades, but you unlock them by leveling up each car. They said 2-3 hours to get a car to max level, so nothing crazy. So, instead of just building a monster and blowing everyone away, you have more of a process.
"Series X devkit at its native 4K/60fps" - That will go unnoticed by the masses I am sure. Surprised there aren't any complaints about the game not running at 8K/120fps, as I am sure they could have dialed down some of the game to appease the minority......
Xbox announces the 8K/120fps version of Forza! See real-time, in-game, in-engine, game play, locked fps. This matches the vision that Turn 10 had for the new from the ground up Forza Motorsport folks!
This is terrible. Sam boring career set up with extra crap thrown in. Massively disappointed.
To make it even worse they're spouting all this sim lingo and showing off a supposed sim and they have all assists turned on. Waste of time.

The grid challenge is a joke. The whole "risk reward" spouting isn't there when the difference in what you earn is so small between the bottom and top of the grid.
The Car Leveling to unlock parts is just dumb. Takes away all the freedom and replaces it with nothing.
The car mastery angle to car leveling is a farce. You don't master a car in 2 to 3 hours. Plus the car isn't going to be the same once upgraded anyway. Making any mastery achieved before worthless.
Still short ass 4 lap races. Still forced to drive boring slow stuff to get the exciting faster stuff. Still doesn't resemble anything Motorsport.
Don't even think it looks great visually either.

Doesn't even have Fantasy tracks like Prague, Swiss Alps, Rio De Janiero.
These are all in Forza 7.
And while there are 3 new tracks none are real race tracks as far as I know. Not good.
Something tells me the held all those tracks back for cheaper post launch content.

I hope Watkins Glen is one of the ones they haven't announced yet. I am tired of Road Atlanta and Sebring personally.
You know they’re gonna drip feed us info over summer like they’ve done with every title with the forza moniker.

I hope we get Hockenheim Ring, Dubai, Longbeach and Yas Marina out of those for sure. I love those.
20 missing tracks at least. Only about 5 tracks left to reveal. 1 of those has to be Nurburgring or T10 will get crucified.
