Should any Frey that’s not a forced pre-teen bride be spared?Killing that many Freys makes her way more of a monster.

She seems to really get off by saying, “Dracarys.”Are the men who really just take orders from the Lord really less innocent than the Lords who fought Dany and wouldn't submit?
Arya obviously likes killing. You can't say that about Dany.
Not really she's killed plenty who didn't bend the knee
Yeah, they have been working this in slowly over time, she didn't just go mad al of the sudden.
Let's face it she's someone who comes from a family of inbreeding with what seems to be hereditary mental issues and while she tries to do the right thing most of the time this other side of her has been creeping in more and more, especially since she crossed the sea and was closer to her goal. The fact that she knows she's Jon's aunt and doesn't want to pull back at all is bad enough but the fact that her first thought was about her "claim" to the throne instead of admitting it should be his shows she's got some problems.
I enjoyed that episode last night it was back to the original intrigue of the show for me. Now it definitely is not on the same level as the earlier seasons. I keep seeing more and more people complaining on the level of the worst final season ever. Is the hype and high bar ruining it for some? I’m still entertained and want to see how it all ends.
I think it wouldn't be believable for a character in that position to not think of the claim to the throne. Yeah she really wants the throne. I don't see how the audience can see that as a bad thing. Burning innocents alive to get it? Obviously not such a reasonable thing but we are supposed to believe she has been mad all along while she has done so much to defeat the White Walkers?
The idea of it is fine but the execution is questionable. Varys suggests maybe its best for someone who doesn't want to rule to be King but that was what Robert was.
I'm thinking they should have had 7 and 8 be full seasons at this point.
I don't think it's fair to say that they are making it out to be that she was mad all along, like I said it has been creeping in little by little but at a more accelerated rate since crossing the sea with things going against her more and more it's taking a toll on her mentally. Before she got to Westeros things were mostly going her way, even when she had a setback it was minor compared to what's happening now, everything over there was just preparation this is the actual event and it's not going how she planned at all.
She made alliances with High Garden, Dorn and The Iron Islands only to have them fall apart as quickly as they came, she lost two of her "children" her best friend, her personal protector and over half of the army she built up before getting to Westeros and on top of that she fell in love with a man that turned out to be her nephew and who's existence really makes everything she's work for meaningless because he is the one who has the rightful claim to the throne. I don't think it's unreasonable to have a character start to flip out a bit after all of that, especially one with her lineage.
Global warming. Water receded. Can't even keep the locations consistent
Not even the samething. Jhon Snow did the same...is he going full tryant? Nope. Ned Stark did the same, was he tyran't? Nope. Not really she's killed plenty who didn't bend the knee

Ned and Jon killed deserters/traitors which is the correct punishment for those crimes
The Tarlys were offered to bend the knee, go the wall, or be executed. Seems reasonable to me.
She only offered the knee. Tyrion suggested the wall or a cell and was ignored and glared at
She think's she's part dragon. It was ignored because Randall Tarly immediately rejected it.
Thinking of her as mad just doesn't fit what she has done. Especially when you consider what she has had to sacrifice to do it.

technically death is the correct punishment for treason. But ultimately all of them killed because folk defied the powers that be.Ned and Jon killed deserters/traitors which is the correct punishment for those crimes

She gave them an out too. What's next, her genocide of slavers bay was that of a tyrant too? .
She said it herself when her brother was killed
He pointed out she doesn't have the power to send him to the wall.
Tyrion then suggested a cell which was ignored but her
She doesn't have the power because he won't recognize her as Queen
What happens after they are burnt? Everyone kneels. So its hard to think she is wrong. If she was really mad she would have thrown Tyrion out of a window for being an awful hand who has got them into this mess.
She doesn't sit on the thrown so she's not the queen. She also doesn't even have the right to claim it now.
