Yeah I don't know why that series lets you jump from one side of the room to the other, you should have to be closer for that stuff to trigger imo. I would be different if the character had some kind of special super power but none of them do.

I predict this getting 8s, but financially be meh for WB... Unless they do a "shadow of war" and give gamers a chance to pay a few measly dollars to be able to finish the game without spending 25h grinding.

Suicide Squad looks like a lot of fun and is pretty impressive looking too.

I think this game may not be doing well.
I think most people rather play batman in a batman game, then some not widely known side characters. Didn't the batwomanTV show bombed & was cancelled, & that wsa the most well known of the banch. Oh wait, she isnt even in the game.

I was just thinking this. I have zero interest in those characters. Red hood is the only one who seems to fit the setting. All Gotham does is make me wish it was Batman. These side characters are just plug ins and don't fit without him, imo.
To be fair... that Batwoman show was hot garbage that barely had an audience. That it made 3 seasons was baffling. Only reason it lasted as long as it did was because it was super 'woke' and they kept trting to push it. Viewership was like 500k

Anyway, the superhero "dead" has been recycled so many time, the novelty is as dry as Sahara now. Top of the stupidity is Justice league. Superman "died" & then come back literally the next movie.
There is a saying., You cannot miss someone if they never go away. Modern "story telling" is so bad.

Play Aegis Rim 13 Sentinels, that game's narrative/story telling was amazing and refreshing.

I just watched the demo vid. This would have been impressive a couple of years ago. And it looks like it has the same Batman style of combat we've become used to without the detective stuff. It looks like fun but I'm not all that excited for this. I guess I need to see more and see if the traversal mechanic is used for something other than going from point to point to do battle with the same enemy types.
I always think of that mind bending twist in "Dallas" when Bobby is just standing in the shower after being declared dead a year earlier.... That was insane at the time and still probably the best twist ever done in a TV series.

Red Hood's gunplay looks awful, it looks so weak it reminds me of how bad Starlords guns are in Guardians of the Galaxy but worse. If you are going to just say "non lethal rounds" as a cover I think that's a problem, his gameplay shouldn't gun centric IMO those should be used for specials and just give him some brutal looking hand to hand melee combat.
Especially since he's the most burly / jacked character of the bunch. Red Hood was probably the character I would've been most interested in playing but after seeing how he plays, not so much anymore. I'll probably play this game if one of my friends is interested, but I'll probably be choosing Robin now.
I wonder if they'd be willing to delay the game again based on the overall negative response this new demo has gotten. They really need some help in the animation department big time and the combat lacks any real impact, it just looks like it's done by people who are using outdated techniques.

2nd, to make characters "unique", they have to segregate the skills, that normal you can have all for a single chacrter (batman), that limited the gameplay.
3rd, to make sure every of the side characters are viable, they need to limit the enemies design, otherwise, some will be too easy or too hard for certian character. Thsi limit the gameplay.

Really happy that they're still making these games. Really looking forward to trying out the RPG mechanics.
WB is releasing another game this holiday that I plan on buying, Hogwarts: Legacy looks far more impressive than this IMO and it's still cross-gen.
