You would think they would have learned their lesson. Did it with Cyberpunk 2077 and now it has 60fps. Swore up and down it couldn't do RT @60fps and then came Metro. Took the piss when Dying Light 2 came out but now XSS even does 4K in it.Love how XSX and PS5 being 1080p to manage 60fps is being ignored to try and s*** on the XSS for being 30fps.
Really? The eye opener isn't the X1X matching PS5 and XSX and the latter two being as weak as GtX 1060? lol.
at 1080P. Lol. Same as a 6 year old GPU. Last gen hardware indeed is making a mockery of all the current gen consoles. That is also an eye opener but the PS5 and XSX are running at double the frames so that's not matching at all but the fact a last gen console is outperforming a current gen one isn't a good look for the devs.
Also said...You didn't.
What the devs actually said was Series S didn't hold back PS5 & XSX. "Why would it."
Then again, you're posting Red Dragon tweets so is no wonder you're clueless.
Which is pretty sad for the developers. They can’t get a previous gen game to run properly on the Series X/S and PS5 yet other devs with more demanding games can. Also said...
“tried everything” to get game to stable 60fps on Series S but it wouldn’t work so it’s 30fps 1080p.

So is the Series S running the same version as the One S?
Five versions for last gen or they could’ve just done two version for last and just emulate it on the current genIt's almost as if releasing on even more platforms day 1 limits optimization.
If they don't have the talent, then you are correct. Maybe they shouldn't have released on Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PS4 Pro.It's almost as if releasing on even more platforms day 1 limits optimization.
Even if they don't have the talent, why shoud they NOT release on the platforms they wanted. Kinda harsh. If they don't have the talent, then you are correct. Maybe they shouldn't have released on Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PS4 Pro.

Not to this degree. This is purely down to developer ability. It's almost as if releasing on even more platforms day 1 limits optimization.
They sure can if they want! But now as you can see, gamers are concerned that next gen platforms were neglected because the developers were so stretched out.Even if they don't have the talent, why shoud they NOT release on the platforms they wanted. Kinda harsh.
if the game is buggy, sure. But if they do not have the bucks to hired people to optmised frame rate, they shouldn't bother to release their game?
It doesn't seem like they targeted current gen at all. XSX and PS5 should be doing dynamic 4K @60FPS and XSS 1080P/dynamic 1440P@60fps based on those PC specs and last gen performance numbers. If the Series S is running a game terribly then all the more evidence they didn't design their game around Series S specs. They led with the Series X and PS5 in mind, as they normally would as if the Series S didn't exist. They then scaled down, even if unsuccessfully, to the Series S. There is a logical disconnect.

MW2 released on all the same platforms and the outcome is far superior.
It also has a lot more to it.I am pretty sure MW2 has more studios / developers / support than Evil west
Aren't there like a lot of studios working on COD?

They could focus on four, og xbox one/ps4 and the ps5/xsx. Every other console in their respective families can just emulate their ancient siblingsThen the devs shouldn't have stretched themselves so thin and just focused on 3 consoles for now.

Or at least higher minimum PC requirements, including SSD requirements.Edited
We get rid of those anchors and we will get better results
They won't make nvme drives with similar speeds as these consoles the minimum spec.Or at least higher minimum PC requirements, including SSD requirements.
Well, that is the gamers loss and the developers pocket book win.....for now. They won't make nvme drives with similar speeds as these consoles the minimum spec.
They are to scared as that market is to small.
Direct Storage is supposed to somewhat alleviate things but we don't see it.

I Think some like to start things and then sit back and watch the dick ripping begin on one side or the other.
The XSS emulates and only runs one games as one s with no real enhancements like the one x does.I think the eye opener here is the X1X outperforming the XSS .
Of course, the devs are part of the problem too.
