Heathen! A real gamer plays the game without any previous knowledge, and when they are done looks for reviews to find out if they had fun or not. I can't wait to finish Elden Ring so I can find out if I was having fun.

I have never bought a game based on the reviews. If the game looks cool, I buy it. I might ask you guys for advice/experience, but reviews for me are just interesting to read.

You gave an OPINION. Period. It could be backed up by other opinions/polls/etc but it is STILL an opinion.

It can't be proved because you said yourself opinions can't be argued.

For some people...the Xbox 2022 lineup might be full of all the AAA games they want to play for the rest of the year. Who knows....point is their opinion supercedes yours or anyone else's.

Difference is they aren't saying that polls/other opinions invalidate yours.

I remember years ago a lady gave Dead Space a horrible review and if I had took her word for it I would've missed out on one of the best games last generation. So basically after that I decided I would form my own opinions.

So that petition that was going around on twitter the other day that was supposedly Sony fans trying to get Kojima's xbox game cancelled was fake, some xbox fan made it up to try to make PlayStation fans look bad.

If true that is very sad. Where did you hear that from?
 
Don't forget they had to do this site to the response on social media so yeah the petition might have been a joke but some people still got pretty butt hurt.

 
There has been a lot of dumb outrage over games going exclusive or something similar but it feels like there is very little over Kojima. Its more that people want there to be and are trying to amplify it.

Kojima is a genius, mgs is one of the best gaming series ever made and death stranding is a masterpiece imo, great that Kojima gets to do games still.

Xbox 2022 exclusive lineup is crap, they're lucky to be riding the high of demand for these new consoles, but at least there's still some third party games for the year.

What's sadder is giving them attention in the first place and making it sound like that's reflective of how a userbase feels. 1700 out of over 100 million is nothing lol. That's just 1700+ people letting you know how stupid they are.

I've said it a hundred times but MGSV is the most overrated piece of crap I have ever played, it barely deserves a 5 let alone all of the 9's and 10's it got out of sympathy for Kojima and the "s***ty way" konami treated him after telling him that he needed to actually get his game done. It had no reason to be open world, the missions were almost all the same thing over and over going back to the same freaking spots over and over lol. It played well but that was it.
