I wish some Indie company would produce a racing game with 1 unlicensed car running on 1 corridor track. Have it run at 10fps with floaty physics. Make it an Xbox One exclusive. But pump the crap into the graphics with all those high tech catch words to make it absolutely stunningly photo-realistic. Then wait to see if THL goes on an on for 3 pages arguing it is the most beautiful racing game ever made.
Just a dream I had.
Fixed.I think it's generally accepted that if your game runs at a solid 60 fps, you can't really knock it in terms of graphics in that area.
Less than 10fps? lol, I don't think so. Probably 30 though.Your dream has come true, and it is alive and kicking in Forza 6. See below, which is running at less than 10 fps and looks better than anything on the PS4 or PC. But you just wait for excuse A, B or C....incoming in 1, 2, and 3:
Fixed.
I was kidding. I was calling it 0 fps cuz it's a static imageLess than 10fps? lol, I don't think so. Probably 30 though.

That said, I would like to know what game ever made has cars that look better than that. I can't think of any.
Yeah that's right. We only use Uncharted 3's prerendered cutscenes. Wait what?No one judges a games graphics based on that. No one.

In splitscreen mode the Star Wars Battelfront Beta on Xbox One runs at a native resolution of 1920x1080. This is unlike the fullscreen modes which run at a native resolution of 1280x720. This means that each player has a 1920x540 view of the game
So this is interesting.
The sacrifice here is that it runs at half the frame rate - 30 FPS.
I assume that will be the same on PS4.
Ohhh, that SONY is always passing around the bulls***.
Well he's not wrong there are plenty of games that are 1080P or 60FPS. Also at least its not as bad as the microsoft tweet that was along the lines of "Its outputted in 1080P so why does it matter?".
He means 1080P/60 fps games. And...uh...that isn't happening much.
But they promised the PS3 was going to be 120 fps, as well. SONY has a history of lying about that stuff.
Well, one is using 1080p @60fps as a hook to sell their product. In truth, both machines rarely run both. They both lie so i don't see what the point of nailing one for it whilst ignoring the other.

PS4 doesn't have a true 1080p @60fps game, bud. Only One does.
On the PS4 side (and to a lesser extent Xbox One), a bug that once caused frame-rate dips to animation and effects rendering is now entirely fixed (as of patch C.2.0.9.26396, seen on its splash screen). The net result? We no longer see drops to the low 40fps range on PS4, and instead, we're thrilled to see a perfect 60fps during all our test sections.
I'm sure you don't. But how different is up scaled 1080p to true native 1080p?And Microsoft was trying to convince people that an upscaled output of 1080P was just as good as an actual 1080P game. I don't see the difference.
Platform.Does the locked 60 FPS (without any drops) at 1080p of Wolfenstein: The New Order not count?

or Diablo 3 post patch?

Do you mean platform exclusive, perhaps?
If you read the entire article the new order is using a scalable dynamic resolution based on the load for both platforms. So not 1080p 100 percent of the time. Most of the time though..,Does the locked 60 FPS (without any drops) at 1080p of Wolfenstein: The New Order not count?
