Avengers flopped so hard we thought let's do another!

Will spiderman be exclusive to it?

The single player campaign of Avengers is good. Studio heads/Marketing messed up bad and leaned on the MP. Hopefully they learned from it.

Is square enix the new king of jank?

They have become very janky. I enjoy Avengers and outriders but they are janky. At least now PS5 avengers performs much better, PS4 was really rough.

Campaign co-op would be cool but nothing built around $20 costumes.

I hope for their sake this is good. Couldn't find the official thread. Mods merge if there is already one, thanks.

I'd like to be excited for this game but I can't stop myself from being disappointed in the missed opportunity by not adding the ability to control all of the Guardians.

My dream of Marvel games is not turning out the way I would have liked. The licensing fees are super expensive and on a tight deadline. This means developers have to rush games out of the door to recoup on their investment. I don't blame them but it also means corners are being cut or at the very least there's not enough time to include more depth.

JRPGs have allowed for full party control for a long time now. And yet here we have a popular team of heroes where many have their own favorite but are locked into controlling only one from the team. The ability to issue some commands does not make up for this.

I'll try to keep an open mind and wait for reviews and gamer impressions.

Read somewhere that if GotG doesn't do well then there might be important discussions to be had over at Square Enix ( I think it was that Reddit rumour).

From an investment standpoint I certainly understand why Square jumped at the chance to license Marvel IP for gaming. Now, I don't know the details of the deal between Square & Marvel but its logical to assume that its only for a limited time. There was an article from an anonymous EA executive a while back where he said the deal they signed wasn't in EA's interest because it didn't allow the publisher to allot the time necessary their studios needed to make great Star Wars games. I'm left wondering if this was case for Square where they had unrealistic timeframes for these games to be developed and were blinded by the popularity of the IP and incorrectly thought gamers would buy anything Marvel related.

Lmao instead of Deus Ex we get this.... another great job square, watch this game fail because it didn't sell 5 million in it's first week.
