I’ve posted rumors of a May event all over these threads, so since it appears to be coming next week, I just wanted to make a thread for it now. Sounds like an ‘appetizer’ event, but we should see some games.

Looks like it’s either going to be the 5th or the 7th. And this:

You three shared the same tweet. JinCa was first.

So they'll show Assassin's Creed Valhalla and what else? You guys think they'll show Halo Infinite? Or do you figure they'll keep it for the E3 event.

It sounds like it’ll be 3rd party only..? I have a feeling they’ll be mentioning smart delivery a lot as well.

This is from awhile ago, so hopefully we’ll be able to see some of them:

A report from investor that held a meeting with MS last year:

"Microsoft believes that its new studios will help it to achieve a primary goal, the delivery of one AAA game per quarter in order to drive Xbox Game Pass. With that said, it does not want to rush its new studios into delivering games before they are fully baked, and believes that any acquisition takes time to get its legs. Its ideal acquisition targets have proven content and strong development teams."

Kind of glad it's 3rd party only, it's too early to show everything IMO, doesn't leave you much to keep the hype going through the summer and into the fall if we've already seen it all. If the event were later that'd be a different story but this seems like a good decision.
