Inside Xbox: May 7th, 8:00 PST

How could they not know? they got heat for last years E3 having virtually no gameplay so they decide to do their first look at a next gen console the same way? it's a bit out of touch.

Sony's GDC speech was a mistake as well, it was meant for game devs but they decided to be more transparent and show the thing to everyone and most people didn't understand it (many still don't) which led to a lot of confusion and people spreading nonsense about what they were doing. Sorry but if you think the PS5 has less than stellar specs because it's got a slight TF disadvantage you need to cutback on whatever it is you are smoking. You've been hyping the stuff shown the other day like crazy, that's some serious damage control if I've ever heard it, it actually comes off a bit overdone and phony.

If Sony comes out and only shows stuff that looks just like the games at the MS show, if they tell people that it's going to be their first look at PS5 gameplay and that it'll change the game and then turn around and mostly show with only a few exceptions 2 minute trailers with MAYBE 10 seconds of gameplay worked in then they deserve every bit as much of a backlash as MS, actually even more so because they saw what people thought of MS's event so they've been warned.
E3 2019 was a big success for MS. They showed off more games than anyone has in past E3s. And MS showed GAME PLAY for all their FIRST PARTY games besides Forza Horizon 4: Lego DLC.

  • Halo Infinite
  • Bleeding Edge
  • Gears 5
  • Gears Tactics
  • Gears Pop
  • Outer Worlds
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps
  • Minecraft Dungeons
  • Age of Empires 2
  • Flight Simulator 2019
  • Battletoads
All had actual game play in them where you are controlling the characters. And I wouldn't call almost 2TF a "slight" disadvantage, which is if the PS5 game is running at max boost. Close to 3TF if boost is not in play.

No it didn't.

For the Xbox 20/20 May update, we will focus on giving you a first look at next-gen gameplay, trailers and sneak peeks from a wide variety of publishing partners and independent developers across the globe and industry, including Ubisoft’s recently announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and hear from game creators about what they’re doing with their games on Xbox Series X.

Are you joking with this?

You do realise the tweets on page 1 actually announcing the show came upto 6 days earlier, right?

So either believe a tweet or a news article. You choose.

In his defense, reading is so hard. A tweet is so much less work and digestible than an article explaining exactly what to expect. Also, clearly, one should always only pay attention to the first piece of information they get.
[/sarcasm]

Just kidding kids, please don’t take the last line seriously...

Sony would never show 30 seconds of trailers for games coming out next year... They'd show 5 seconds of CGI and a title screen for something coming out in five years that already come out 20 years ago and win the Internet. 🤡

That sounds a lot like the Xbox one E3 press conferences.

[sarcasm] In your defense, reality is hard. Also, clearly, we should ignore the official week long tweets (on one oof the biggest social media platforms) from the big honchos at Xbox and justt focus on the last bit of info given on a not so popular site.

Just kidding fantasy worlders. Your delusions are intact.

Lol, now who’s being disingenuous and deceptive.

Things change, and frequently, especially right now with Covid-19. Has it ever crossed your mind that either their plans changed or they put out the Xbox News article after getting further clarification on what to expect? The last piece of information was more thorough and added clarification.

I work in human services and our Covid-19 protocol changes 2-3 times a week as we get new information and administration makes protocol decisions.

Regardless, the tweet your referencing doesn’t invalidate the article. It’s the other way around, the article informs and clarifies the tweet.

Per usual we run into the same barrier as we typically do in discussions with you. You read, but you don’t comprehend. Your tunnel vision is directing your perspective.

And before, we get into your predictable “that’s right, you’re just smarter than the rest of us” retort, no I’m not. I just take the time to digest what I read. I’m not implying my own intelligence, I’m informing you of your strong tendency to not comprehend what you read.

Take it as constructive criticism, if you will.

Microsoft is going to be under the microscope more for their shows because they haven't earned the benefit of the doubt like Sony and Nintendo have.

Nobody said it invalidated anything. See, comprhension isn't an issue. Keeping up with your everchanging, often made, up, defending isn't easy. It is this, it is that, it doesn't matter, now it is this.

Going by the apoliogy from xbox and Ubisoft, your covid defence is more bulls***.

Simple fact is they overhyped, couldn't deliver, and brought themselves more negativity. They know it, most on here know it, but you just can't face it.

Didn’t say you said anything about it invalidating anything. You don’t even realize what you yourself are implying with your words. I said it didn’t invalidate, my words as part of the discussion, the article as a natural extension of the discussion. You are right though, you’re not keeping up with discussion. It’s becoming more like talking to a middle schooler.

Of course they apologized. There is more to gain through an apology than being defensive here. It’s called deference.

What is there to face exactly? I don’t see something the same as you or random other individuals? That isn’t a concern, but more and more seems like something I should be grateful about. That you won’t see things as I do? No loss there. You so busy trying to prove everything was a disappointment and failure on their end and they were deceptive about it, but I don’t care if you feel like it was a disappointment more than a passing thought about it. I’m discussing your attempts to promote they were being deceptive. Well, at least I tried to help you out. You can’t follow or accept it, well that’s on you, not me. Seems like you’re someone struggling to face something. Maybe your interjecting your own disappointment?

Plus I doubt many consumers that they are aiming for have the equipment to fully enjoy 4k 120 anyway.
The 120 fps thing still baffles me. Not many TVs do that for game modes do they? That's a sliver of the market, and I doubt we will see it very often.
