I am guessing all will work best with voice as it does now.I'm quite skeptical of Kinect 2 as well. I really need to see all of the dashboard navigation done in real-time, without the use of clickers (i.e., like during the E3 presser).
I'm quite eager to try out bowling, my favorite event from both Kinect Sports 1 and Wii Sports, but sadly that will have to wait for another day. Until then, rest easy knowing that Kinect 2.0's likely flagship title works...and it's plenty fun to boot.
If Rare sets out to prove that Kinect 2.0 is a cut above its current-generation fledgling, then it can only be looked at as a success. Kinect 2.0 works. It wasn't quite 1:1 tracking, but it's as close as we've ever seen with our well-travelled eyes. Not bad for one of the early titles built around the new tech if you ask us. Let's just hope the other four game modes are a little bit more fun, but also maintain the accuracy these two Kinect Sports Rivals modes achieved.
Boo...
Even if you are not into Kinect games yourself its still a cool feature especially when you throw parties at your pad or when you have family members with kids.
Not planning on using kinect at all crew.
staying in the box
Absolutely guarantee you will be hooking it up as soon as you setup your X1 and will use it once you get past your egos.
Mark my words.
So are we making this an official bet or what?
nope lmao.Absolutely guarantee you will be hooking it up as soon as you setup your X1 and will use it once you get past your egos.

nope lmao.
in the box it stays. Rather use smartglass.
Again, if you get the X1, be honest with us after a couple of weeks.
then you pay a $500 to be using only 30% of the system by keeping kinect in the box?nope lmao.

Official in professional manner. No money as you would be inclined to keep it in the box for payday. When you get the X1, be honest with us after a few weeks.
My small ass room that is about half full of queen sized bed is tipping this professional bet heavily in my favor
Works for audio input regardless of camera depth which is much smaller than K1.
Kinect Sports Rivals: The motion-controlled sport series is impressive and lives up to the hype Microsoft conveyed for Kinect 2.0 with the Xbox One release. Kinect 2.0 responds to multiple people and can accurately track even the slightest body movements and gestures, such as opening and closing your fist when mountain climbing.
You're going to need glasses if you don't have them already.Yeah my xbox is going to be about 1 1/2 feet from where i sit. The smaller depth is still not going to do me anything.
Not that it matters much, but they showed the same exact facial scanning thing this guy is talking about... "LIVE" on camera... months ago.
Things get buggy from time to time, and Kinect is no different. Are we supposed to dismiss the tech because of one article when there are positive articles as well?
