One guy linked the demo, and you should look at the like/dislike ratio and read the comments there too. You posting troll threads mean nothing. Noone is saying the game looked amazing visually, but calling it 360 era (or even that resistance 1 looked better LOL) is literally idiotic.

I also think it's ridiculous saying the game is a mess simply because the gameplay visuals aren't blowing people's hair back. It's the typical overstated pile-on BS that makes Sony Fanboys insufferable.

Problem with your comparison is you leave out GamePass. Gamepass is half the reason people think it is such good value. 100's of games including all exclusives for $15 amonth. That is 5 months of gaming for the price of 1 PS5 exclusive.

Casuals don't look for TFs. They do look for brand but people buying more Playstations isn't really the question. I was talking about value and why people should be buying the consoles.

I don't buy it being that big of a drop, and I'm the one who consistently points out that the 10% power drop for a couple percent in performance means they're way past the efficiency curve. I mean, some random dude citing a dev in discord is almost as solid as Taco Bell poopsquirts.

I think that is what people need to understand. Not everyone has a gaming PC, and even LESS have a gaming PC that pushes better visuals then the XSX will push.
Everyone acts like the PC is a completely issue free alternative to the Xbox. I'm a PC gamer and I can tell you it isn't clean cut. Driver updates, Windows potentially destroying your SSD, hardware incompatibilities, etc.

It is NOT everyone's cup of tea and I honestly believe most people who say 'PS5/PC' have potato PCs. Hell the Steam hardware stats pretty much prove this.

I have phases between console and PC. So I spent some time on the Ps4 Pro when it first came out then I switched to PC, now with new console launches, I'm heading back into my console phase.

Now I can't speak for others, but I have a pretty capable PC that I upgrade every few years. My most recent upgrades from 1-2 years ago was getting a 9700k to replace my 4670k, a 1080Ti to replace my 1070. I've never had those problems you mentioned, granted I've been building my own PC's since high school but still, if you're tech savvy and a gaming enthusiast (as I assume most are that have the capability to get anything he or she wants), I stand by my comment of PC/Playstation to get the best of both worlds. There is absolutely no use for the Xbox in my situation because all the games are playable on PC.

To be fair, 2 TF difference is small. $100 more for like 10% extra. That is vastly different than $100 more for 250% extra power.

Point taken. I've always had a gaming PC in my life since my high school days so the PC world is not foreign to me. I actually enjoy reading up about the new tech. I also play some competitive FPS like Overwatch , Destiny etc. so I love me some of that 144hz+ monitors fluidity. Once you've tried it, you really can't go back. Apart from the gaming, my PC is also used for my work, visual entertainment and all my stocks/trading are done there as well so just a couple of many reasons why I enjoy having a nice PC. But I get that not everyone is into PC so if you're not, you'd have some tough choices to make.

Yeah. My gaming PC is a little weak nowadays and falls in line with the steam results. i7 6700k, Geforce 1060 6GB, 8GB Ram, 1080P monitor. Is this even mid tier nowadays? The XSX and PS5 piss all over this thing.
 
Not every PC gamer is all about the absolute latest and greatest visuals and performance. I game on all 3 platforms for various reasons. Visuals are certainly part of that, but I don't necessarily focus on it either. My PC is 3 years old and still "fine" for what I do. My PC is hooked up to a 1440p 60hz monitor, so obviously I'm not even pushing things too far. My consoles are on a 4k 60hz TV.

I find there's "must have" games for me on every platform, which is why I have all 3.

Sure, we’ve seen nothing concrete but this guy has a solid track record when it comes to Capcom leaks. He’s taken quite a bit of flack as you can imagine but he’s doubled down on his statements. It could be just a software/engine issue on Capcom behalf rather than a hardware related. Didn't Resi 2 remake play better than PS Pro than One X? Surely an engine issue then too.
