Sony has a service already too but that isn't even the point

Sony isn't going to do it because their games sell a ton. In Mcmasters world Sony is two days from going out of business so they can't afford to do it.
Dur hur! Smh. No one said that but Playstation is the only thing Sony is really profitable in. They cant afford to sustain losses for a long duration like Microsoft can. Dont get your panties in a twist over facts my dude. You'll live! And there's still Playstation Collection to look forward to. Please be excite!

No I will just use gamepass because unlike some people I don't worship plastic

they can’t afford to take major losses when their gaming division is quickly approaching their movie money and looking to surpass it.

but give them a few years....it’s not like they’ll lose quality in their product, maybe crappy camera setups and controls buy tram ico is gone :(

Their image sensors are more profitable.

Second, we hear this every generation, and the results are all the same. Not that I'm pronouncing a winner, but Microsoft's bottomline had earned them nothing. Infact, Nintendo seems to be giving them a run for their money

We also hear every generation...from people in this thread no less that the Xbox brand is:

1. Being sold.
2. Being bought.
3. Bleeding money.
4. Is no where near profitable.

Yet here we are.

Not that I'm announcing a winner or a loser, but this doom and gloom has existed since the 360 launch.

I’ll be honest, ps now, is that a paid service, I thought you just rented or purchased games through there? Or is it like those infomercials with top hit music?

Did they mention if that’ll be compatible with the ps5?

Before their was Game Pass, there was PlayStation Now. PlayStation Now is a streaming service but it also allows you to download some titles, also. I like to think of it as games on demand. It's not a perfect service, but it definitely gets the job done when you're looking for something to jump into without having to worry about storage space or long downloads.

Much of what you listed fits like a glove.

True, but an outcome like that cannot easily be predicted.

I just find it a little strange that whenever we engage in these kinds of debates, the bottom line is always looked upon. If bottom line meant anything in these console wars, Nintendo would have been at the bottom of the list. Yet, they are almost where Sony is i some situations.

public static void main (String[ ] args) {

System.out.println("Does the Xbox Division make Microsoft money?");
System.out.println("Take your guess.");
System.out.println();

boolean guess = false;

Scanner sc = new Scanner (System.in);

while (!guess.equalsIgnoreCase("false")) {
System.out.println ("We have no idea. We aren't stockholders");
else if (guess.equalsIgnoreCase("true")

System.out.println ("We still have no clue.");

System.out.println("Thank you for playing the we have no f***ing clue simulator.");

awe, that’s right, they bought onlive for that...wonder if they’ll move ps5 games to azure?

Not just Onlive but GaiKai, too. They purchased Gaikai first and Onlive second.

Sony is using Azure for something related to games, but it's not clear what it is but it likely has something to do with expanding their presence in the cloud market. The assumption is Sony will get rid of their own serves. I seriously doubt this. I think they're saving this for something special.

perhaps they’ll keep their servers for their older games and services for the ps4 and other legacy hardware....wait, can you still play vita games online?

Maybe this is the reason RE8 seems to be running into problems on PS5. This guy is supposedly very reliable when it comes to Capcom leaks. He tweeted about this a couple of weeks ago and doubled down on it yesterday.

He also tweeted that he only went public with this because Xbox was getting s*** on so much, if Capcom is having an issue it's their engine and dev team not the hardware, we've already seen much more impressive games running just fine.

I was thinking this, too since doing that has something to do with modifying those farms in order to run that back log. They can't do that with Azure.
