Life

I would rather have him change his name to Bree Olson, get a sex change, take hormones, make himself look just like Bree, then come to Wisconsin to Hedon's for "cuddling".

Tumor Markers down again from 0.8 to a 0.5. That is normal range. He said if they where that low again after last time he would be checking to see how much cancer is left if any.

He says he doesn't believe the 0.5 is right which kinda pisses me off. Oh well get my 12th chemo treatment next week then they will do the scans. We will see then if the tumor markers are right.

How is the chemo going? Do you feel awful some of the time or most of the time? Are you able to do other things and enjoy your life while taking chemo, or is it really debilitating?

He says I'm a model patient when it comes to chemo. I have not been sick once from it and the only thing it causes is a little neuropathy for a few days. I pretty much do any thing I want. I am limited on the weeks I have chemo because I have to have a pump on for 2 days while at home.

Wow, that's pretty amazing, that you haven't been sick from chemo at all. Either the procedures have improved a lot in the last decade or else you are really resilient. Maybe both. Either way, I'm glad you're feeling okay, despite the chemo. Look forward to hearing your next update.

My sister handled it like a superhero. It’s amazing to see people do that. Inspirational, like Hazard is. Makes me smile.

PET scan tomorrow to see what is happening with the cancer. Hoping for good news since my Tumor Markers are normal.

Yes, please let us know how it comes out, Hazard.

Pet scan results are on my chart online web site already. I can say with certainty the cancer is not gone. Could have shrunk but do not know till I see the doctor next Tuesday.

I guess it was too much to hope for, for it just to disappear completely. Presumably it's shrunken/receded, given the tumor markers. Interested to hear what the doc says.

Hoping everything works out with Tuesdays results! I won't be around as I'm away on business Tuesday, but I'm hoping you post some good news when I check the board Weds.

Cheers Hazard.
