Xbox One = Kinect = one Xbox
I think their supply is helping them out through the holidays, but I expect Sony to pass them in spring. But then MS can easily afford to drop $50 w/ Kinect by next November.
That's all I want is a price drop with or without kinect.
My entertainment center is naked without a XB console.
People hating on the Kinect reminds of that youtube vid of the guy who was complaining about moving around the UI with the controller. Some guy in the comments section told him to use the Kinect, telling him you will understand once you use it. He said he would try, then posted a follow up vid of how seemless the UI is with Kinect and how cool it is to control your console with your voice.
MS is most likely NEVER getting rid of Kinect. It is tied to the UI. Every review on the XBOX ONE states as much. So if you are waiting for the Kinect to be dropped, you will be waiting a long time. If you are waiting on a price drop, you may only wait until late 2015. By then production will be less and I have no doubt a new SKU will be out too, Kinect included.

Titanfall drops in early March, probably the biggest title for this new generation so far. I can only see a huge bump in sales for the XBOX ONE through out the spring due to that game.

Well, to be fair, we really shouldn't compare Nintendo's sales until they release a next-gen console. Or I guess current-gen, now.
I'm not sure we'll be able to hear the numbers speak for themselves over the bleating of the fanboys of whichever side has the slight edge.
I was thinking the same thing. To me, the Wii was apart of the XBOX/PS2/Dreamcast generation. The Wii U is apart of the XBOX360/PS3 generation. Still waiting for Nintendo to make a real next gen console and not go the complete and utter cheap route. The last legit next gen console they had was the GCN.
Wii U does things the last gen couldn't like many 1080p games even more so then the other current gen consoles ie PS4/X1.

Now, now. Numbers have done everything at this point but speak for themselves. They actually never say anything about themselves, they're too busy talking about everything else. It's so hard getting to know 1. That bastard never opens up about anything.
Wii U² is going to release in about 4 years and will be barely more powerful than Xbone, but with a little bit more RAM... still no third party support.

You'll spend $1,000+ on a graphics card that gives you zero exclusive games over products that are only a couple hundred dollars... Barely give you any benefits over products that cost barely over half your graphics card...
But you are sitting around waiting for a console to drop from $500 for $400 that has numerous exclusives over some defiance over "value."
Just seems off. I am the proud owner of many overpriced PC parts myself and would never sit around worrying about a $100 price difference for a console.
I mean if you have no current interact in XBO features or exclusives that's one thing, but you don't ever really say that.. You harp on price and Kinect.

Not really. Looks like mostly postive reception from them.
Since RAM would be the add-on, I would actually say that would be rather, Nintendo doing a Nintendo. (N64)
He should've went with AMD.
He could've spent half that price and would have enough left over to buy an Xbone.
