New Destiny screens!

Expecially Mass-Effect. I hope destiny delivers on the promise of exploration what ME failed @ doing ... they tried with ME1 but totally gave up on that in the later installments

Does anybody else find it funny how Bungie left MS cause they wanted to do new things and then turn around to make a game like Halo.

I need to look into this game more, I am intrigued but I honestly do not know much about it or what kind of game it even is. Is this an online shooter like Halo?
If you watched some of Bungie's Vidocs about Destiny what they regret the most about Halo is that they made a beautifull world wich players couldn't explore of dive more into, it was always about MC. Alot of Destiny's aspects remind me alot of Halo and even the enemies, as in Halo aliens have attacked humanity etc ...
Visual looks last gen. But I guess this is to be expected for cross gen games.

I wished they'd release a vid of a mission / quest from start to finish, maybe showing what kind of loot or upgrade you get and how the player uses this for his character. Players interaction etc. Pics really don't do anything for me with this title.

New IPs from the creators of Call of Duty and Halo in the same year? Plus a new Halo game from the talented 343? It's gonna be a great year.
I'm interested in knowing though what special content this game is getting on the PS4. I'd prolly prefer to get this game on the One, but if it's anything substantial, I'll switch to the PS4.

Looks great! Definitely get a ME vibe from it as well as Halo but much more impressive looking than both! I don't play multiplayer type games but I'll be getting this!

That said, I like the art style, but I really don't think this looks great at all. It would seem that Bungie's style (and technical capabilities) hasn't really changed (or improved) since Reach... too bad, since I think 343i really took Halo 4 to another level visually.
I'm sure it'll be a fun game, and I have a great deal of faith in Bungie to make something fun - but I'm honestly *so* happy that Bungie isn't involved in the Halo franchise anymore... I think it would have just stagnated, and I think Bungie seems incapable of making something truly graphically impressive these days.

People are seriously impressed by this? Can you guys let me know what you think looks impressive, because perhaps I'm just missing it... this looks much worse than Killzone, Ryse, BF4, etc... I just can't get excited about it visually/technically...
May not look as good as Ryse I'll bet that its a much better game than Ryse though.
Looking forward to playing this later this year.

I'd suspect it's probably a better game than all 3 of those games, but I agree about the graphics though.

Probably I've only played Ryse out of those 3 games though. May get BF4 and Killzone when they are cheap.
Exactly my thoughts. This could be a start of something great. Only shooter i'm interested in this year.
That's not the point (nor is that something I disagree with).
The point is, some people are saying this game "looks amazing", and I just don't understand that. It actually looks really bad, in my opinion (considering the budget, experience, and hype).
I'd be saying the same thing about Titanfall, if people made claims about how great it looks... I mean, I like the art style of both, but neither look like anything beyond last Gen games.
Isnt this an open world shooter though? If it is I think it looks pretty impressive. If it was a linear/corridor shooter then I would agree it doesn't look too good. The way pravus described it though has me excited to try it.
Eh, I disagree. I think it looks really last gen. It looks worse than many last gen games. At the same resolution and frame rate, Halo 4 beats this. The Witcher 3 is open world, and it destroys this. Utterly destroys it...
Yeah, I just don't get it. It looks like a mediocre last gen game.

Is Witcher 3 an open world MMO FPS that has (at the very least) up to 8 players taking part in random boss encounters out in the world? Cause if so I may actually have to force myself to finish Witcher 2 to get caught up with that world.
The fact is Destiny is an open world MMO FPS. Not as huge as Planetside 2 but larger in scope than Borderlands 2 (if the E3 video is any indication). So the fact that it doesn't have all the huge wiz-bang OMG visual effects is to be expected.
Also, the main reason it looks last gen? Is because we're still waiting on true next-gen consoles instead of the new-gen consoles MS and Sony released last year.

You have this listed as PC/Steam but I'm pretty sure they said it won't be coming to PC. I guess they don't want to make console fanboys cry with how laughably bad it would look in comparison. Also, they probably don't want to support mods so that people are forced to buy 100% of new content from them (thanks activision).
