Bottom line, we all know what Val is trying to do when he keeps bringing up GoTY awards in a thread about sales.
We know reading comprehension you lack as somebody attempted to say Sony had nothing Mascot/franchise quality wise and THAT is what I responded to.

It was prob as big if not bigger but NOT MS's mascot.
How so? Because it wasn't owned by MS? I'd still say it was a console mascot even if it's not owned by the console creator. It's still an exclusive.

Exactly. It was an xbox exclusive and it was published my MS.

I'd say Gears of War was a "360/MS mascot" last generation. I'd even go as far as saying perhaps more iconic than Halo last gen.
I concur... to an extent. ;)

Gears is a massive title though. Thats another one that will have developers reconsider launch dates for sure. Alot of people say they should give Gears a break. But once another ones announced, its going to blow up. So will Fable.

I judge a console's mascotability by the fact they have a fighting game with all of their characters in it.

Nintendo - Super Smash Bros

Sony - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal

Microsoft - ??? Master Chief vs a car from Forza isn't exactly a fair fight.

BUT ITS NOT OWNED BY MS

Who the fvck cares but you? It's an exclusive to that platform. That's all that matters. It's an exclusive that PS does NOT have, so it's going to move xbox consoles, because it's the only platform that it's sold on. MS wins, because it moves THEIR platform.

Forza isn't a mascot that's why I didn't name it....I tried avoiding it and GT.

U know what I won't put you on ignore but until you start making some points and quit misquoting me I am not going to reply to this nothingness. Have at it bro

You're free to put me on ignore whenever you want. It doesn't change the fact that you stealthly try to troll xbox brand whenever you can.

But seriously, if my posts bother you that much, you could run to the ignore button and it get it done.

PS4 sold 250k and Xbox One sold 100k in Germany.

Sales of PS4 and Xbox One for Germany were previously a guarded secret. Now the figures for the German market were abandoned and Sony also has the edge. Since launch of the PS4 on 29 November PS4 250,000 consoles were sold in Germany by the end of December 2013. The Xbox One appeared in this country on 22 November and has sold 100,000 copies. The figures are derived from the market research company Media Control GfK.

There’s not much to report for week 2, 2014 apart from the rise or re-entry of various titles due to retailer promotions.

EA remain at No1 with a 7th week for ‘FIFA 14’ (-32%) - the last 4 weeks consecutively. Activision Blizzard remain at No2 with ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (-41%) and 4 consecutive weeks behind ‘FIFA 14’. EA’s ‘Battlefield 4’ is No3 (-48%), swapping places with Ubisoft’s ‘Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’ at No4 (-52%). Sony’s PS4 ‘Killzone: Shadow Fall’ climbs 13 places back into the Top 10 at No8 (+63%) as PS4 hardware stock hits retail, whilst Sega’s ‘Aliens: Colonial Marines’ (-14%) climbs 5 places to No10 as the average price on all versions drops below £5. Deep Silver/Koch’s ‘Dead Island: Riptide’ re-enters at No16 (+76%) due to strong price promotion and Rockstar/Take 2’s ‘Max Payne 3’ climbs 12 places to No21 (-7%) for the same reasons.

Also feeling the benefits of keen pricing and re-entering the Top 40 are the following 3 titles: Codemasters' ‘GRID 2’ (+72%) at No29, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 ‘Gears of War: Judgement’ (+310%) at No30 and Bethesda’s ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Legendary’ (-1%) at No38.

:oops:I really think your the only one who cares who wins the "console war"Keep it up though like getting the numbers

Let's be honest...if XB1 numbers were ahead, there would be more XB fans that would "care" who is winning.

while selling 3 million is great. I don't think MS can afford to let Sony continue to dominate.
