That post was a contradiction. If its selling great how is Sony dominating? MS is selling the units they are wanting to sell. That's all that matters
way way too early to call it dominating.
let the sales settle into a normal buying pattern, then people can ready their e-peens. And MS definitely CAN afford it, much more than Sony could afford being behind for the better part of 7 yrs in the last gen console race. Neither company is going to fold due to a 1 mil, or 2 mil WW lead. Just ludicrous.
Also, why in the hell would any of you want MS or Sony to fail? Or get any sort of pleasure in how big a gap or margin in sales there is? If you want a stale, degenerative market, please by all means HOPE for one to fail.

Hardly surprising, & its still hard to find PS4, while XBOX one stock is plentiful. Imagine if there is more stock.
Hopefully a price drop soon for xbox.

Rather unsurprisingly, the humble Xbox 360 appears to have topped UK hardware sales charts for 2013, and is second only to the 3DS overall. Ah, my little 360 - in the pantheon of consoles, you are undoubtedly Zeus. Which is to say, you're the lechy bearded one who enjoys a bit of reverse-bestiality. OK, how do you feel about Poseidon, then?
The data comes care of Eurogamer, which has been chatting to Chart-Track. The Xbox 360 lost 30.7 per cent of sales compared to last year, but still landed comfortably ahead of the PS4 - and the Xbox One, which had to settle for fifth. Better luck next year, newblood.

Chart-Track released its sales data numbers for video game hardware (obtained by Eurogamer) for 2013. They are as follows:
•1. 3DS (including 2DS, XL) - up 4%
•2. Xbox 360 - down 30.7%
•3. PlayStation 4
•4. PlayStation 3 - down 31%
•5. Xbox One
•6. Vita - down 41%
•7. Wii U - up 41.5%
•8. Wii - down 72%
The family of 3DS products, which includes the 2DS and the 3DS XL, topped the overall hardware charts. This comes as no surprise, as the 3DS had a tremendous year with games like The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X&Y, and Fire Emblem: Awakening.
On the other end of the chart are the Wii and Wii U. The Wii's sales are the lowest of any system, with a massive 72% decrease in sales over the year. And despite seeing a significant 41.5% boost in sales in 2013, the Wii U only outsold its predecessor.
Vita was the worst-selling handheld, though there are only two on the list. And though there's little chance of the Vita ever bridging the multi-milllion unit gap between itself and the 3DS, its compatibility with the PS4 has spiked Vita sales lately
The best selling console, the Xbox 360, saw overall sales decrease by over 30%. Of course, the Xbox 360 outselling both the Xbox One and PS4 doesn't spell doom for the new consoles. It was available for purchase the entire year, whereas the new consoles spent fewer than two months on the market.

Way back when gaming was more a hobby then how popular it is today the company who sold the most hardware made the most $. It was harder for 2nd place even though SNES and Genesis made a profit for their makers as they both sold ballparkish to each other relatively. We (many of us) all explained to him the market is big enough for 2 (maybe 3) companies now especially after last gen to make $. This is good for console gaming as a whole. Vall would rather have 1 manufacturer with a monopoly but only if it is sony. Why? I'm guessing he feels Nintendo and MS are holding sony back somehow?
He probably meant ps3 and that is totally believable.

Given that logic just going off of sales. The 360 is better than the PS4 because its sold more last month right.

Actually I was trying to joke with him.. he seems to have a sense of humor.
I am sure the intent is and will always be 1080p on the Xbox One. The upcoming Tomb Raider is an example of that, not to mention, most of the games on the Xbox One are already 1080p. Great news for gamers that is for sure.
You'd think... some only reserve their patience with regards to "potential" for their console of choice.
