The links blue gave you are not in-store stock checkers.

that's obvious by ongoing discussion - so why do we keep referring to them?

The site also apparently uses/scrapes data from the online sites. Considering the fact that Target hasn't opened up on-line ordering for PS4 at all on their site, yet there's availability of the PS4 at stores means the tool is simply, at best a tool of available on-line stock at a given time.

Online stores are effectively separate entities than the local brick/mortar stores and the data on these sites are currently bound to data as the merchandise flows into (and is sold out of) the respective local stores. What is apparent is that Target (and other stores) are obviously not getting consistent stock/supply of the consoles from Sony in this regard (i.e. the distribution channel is supply constrained for a variety of unknown reasons) as compared to the X1...

Lighten up man... geesh have you not noticed his posts lately and now this one?

He had it coming, I didn't lie nor did I mean any harm :/
Are you talking about me. Serious I get called names for trying to bring up a new discussion. Once I see that I was wrong I admit it
will send link later at work MS called EVERY retailer to see how many units sold to customers Sony did not their number is based on units sold to stores.

Yes it is now. Was to busy replying to some fanboy with butthurtt . Sorry but when I see posts like that I tend to reply to them first, before reading or responding to anything else. Have to drive 45mins to get home. So yes it is crystal clear.

Ummm... no sh*t?

Thanks for the lesson. Another explanation is that there is a lot lower demand for the X1, and the PS4s are selling out shortly after they arrive because of much higher demand, which would cause the exact same scenario with stock. We know that is what is happening at least on Amazon if you look at their sales charts: Low PS4 availability (rarely in stock), yet it has much higher sales than X1. Of course that couldn't possibly be true for other retailers, right?

There is no point trying to have a debate/discussion on here. If your an Xbox fan, even if you achnowlege the PS4 is selling better. All you will get is a bunch of "Xbox sucks no one is buying it, and PS4 is the greatest"

Really, is that what you're reading? Who here is saying xbox sucks and no one is buying it?

You reading a different forum then me?

I think most of us believe that the X1 outsold the PS4 last month in the U.S. due to the much better availability. Probably January will be no different--I mean, if any of us wanted, we could all buy 100 Xbox one's right from our couch right now. Who is saying that the Xbox is not selling?

Xbox definitely isn't selling. Someone on the Internet said MS is bankrupt from the failure.

I guess they'll just use their war chest o' cash to simply buy out Sony if they want to continue.. ;)

Maybe you and the three others that agreed with you could point out all the xbox one sucks and isn't selling posts.:p

Just saw it on neogaf

Impressive, Im really amazed at how well the One/PS4 is selling. Hopefully that means cross gen games die off faster

Can you imagine all the meltdowns going on at that "other" site? Lol

You mean across the net? The PS4 was supposed to save us all from the tyranny of Microsoft and the Xbox One. It didn't. This proves that right now the Xbox brand is still the most popular in the world.

I told you all Sony was holding back shipments of the PS4 to cause more demand and it's going to backfire. Looks like the One has been selling just fine.

360 have a backlog of 8 years of many high quality games, & will continue to have, for a couple of years at least. If you are not one that need to have the latest tech, you can get a lot of enjoyment out if it, to last at least a few years.
