This is from a guy who works at Gameindustry.biz. He's talking about sales of recently released major titles in the UK.

Things are not looking good for Fallout 76, the new Hitman, or probably for Battlefield V.

Otoh, it sounds like Pokemon and Spyro are doing ok/decent.

That's disappointing about Hitman 2. The game is solid and really fun to play. I'd hate to see them have to close up shop after regaining their independence.

01 (NE) SPYRO REIGNITED TRILOGY (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD)
02 (01) RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 (TAKE 2)
03 (NE) FALLOUT 76 (BETHESDA SOFTWORKS)
04 (NE) POKEMON LET'S GO, PIKACHU! (NINTENDO)
05 (03) FIFA 19 (ELECTRONIC ARTS)
06 (NE) POKEMON LET'S GO, EEVEE! (NINTENDO)
07 (02) CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 4 (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD)
08 (NE) FORTNITE: DEEP FREEZE BUNDLE (WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE)
09 (06) MARIO KART 8 DELUXE (NINTENDO)
10 (NE) HITMAN 2 (WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE)

Spyro beats RDR2. Sounds right.

Fallout 76 was down 82.4% compared to Fallout 4.

Fallout generated the most revenue last week

With an 82.4% drop on F4 first week sales that puts this at just under 85K

Fallout 76 bothers me, because it seems like nothing more than a cash-in on a type of game that makes lots of money. It's not like Bethesda had a passion for making the game. It's that they saw it as a money-making opportunity, and so they did it.

It started off as an online mode for F4 but they decided to hold it back for this.

Yeah, just finished Fallout 4 (GamePass), and really have no desire to play Fallout 76....I'm not sure folks really asked for this and I've heard mostly middling reviews about it. Looks like it may bomb pretty hard but we'll see.

Just picked up some titles on the PSN sale:
Last of Us Remastered - $5.99
God of War - $21.99
Horizon: Complete - $14.99

So, got my PS4 Slim, extra controller (Dell $30 deal), Spider-Man (bundle), and the 3 games above for under $300 (think it was $288 and change in total)...not bad.

Looks like the Spider-Man PS4 bundle is selling really well all over the place, seems to be selling out often.

I liked how at E3 Howard mentioned Elder Scrolls 6 as the game everyone keeps asking him about, than WTF haven't they made it yet? lol

I know ES Online does pretty well and is fun, I enjoy playing it from time to time so maybe they figured they needed a Fallout equivalent but FO76 looks like a cluster f*** and seems to be something that either never should have been made or should have been pushed back to mid-late 2019.

Go SWBF2

It seems like people are super nostalgic for remakes of former Sony exclusives. Crash and now Spyro. Sony should bring back some of their classics on their own.

I heard the Xbox One has sold 70 million or something like that.

AMD revealed Xbox sales this year by announcing shipped GPU's in every console. With that in mind It can't be over 37 million.

Wow. Best selling console on Amazon right now is Xbox. Followed by the Switch and then Xbox One X.

That's cool but it doesn't mean anything for NPD's or WW sales.

I can't find the article but here's a video that shows it.

Was only a couple years ago that Amazon was the only place that counted for some on here...

Cool. I was talking about Amazon. Feel free to bring your own stats in here if you want.

Yeah, something went haywire in the relationship between Sony and Amazon, so I wouldn't use amazon to try to gauge where things sit in the console wars. It's going to be misleading.

They are back on Amazon though.

It's not back to normal, though. I mean, look at the results you posted. Do they make any sense to you? The base Xbox One and the Xbox X are both outselling the PS4? Really? That has never happened, ever. And it's supposedly happening at a time when the PS4 is running a $199 Spider-Man bundle, which by all accounts is flying off the shelves. Makes no sense.

Amazon just isn't a reliable source of information when it comes to Xbox vs. PS4.

I guess its the same thing that Nintendo went through with Amazon for a while. Both played hard ball for years.
