Don't you think a Forza Horizon 6 will be too much milking of the franchise and people will get burnt out?
I think there is still a lot of legs & ideas to explore in a Horizon game. Alot of of people will be hyped to the sky if Japan is the next distination which someone hint may be the next location in FH6. I know its lame, but I like to be able to get out of my car & see my character once in a while.

I feel some form of story, (can be as B-grade as F&F movies) can push the game forward. The problem I have with Forza games is the lack of motivation after a while. A story will driv ethe motivation forward for me.

You make a good point with Japan and story. As long as they don't lose focus of what makes FH great.

About that "bored" post doesn't that happen to most games within a month though? How many people downloaded it because it was a new first party game and they just wanted to try it out but had no intention of sticking with it long term? FH has a lot of fans, I'm sure plenty of people will stick around even after a block of more casual players gave it a shot and have moved on.
Hardcore driving/racing fan will get alot of milage from FH2. Its the causals that will get bored. Thats why I suggest some from of story to move the game forward.

It is too popular. Motorsport is getting an 8th and that is half as popular as Horizon.

The next one will be fully current gen too. Imagine if they did a Flight Sim but with just Japan.

Don't need that story crap, it just doesn't work. Many racers have tried it and it fails every time. I'd rather they use those resources for other things.

This will be FM8, yes. FM7 was released in 2017. I personally don't think FM8 will be out until 2023, which will give it a 6 year rest.

That would make me moist.

That's one reason I'm not into racing games, it all just starts to feel like the same thing over and over really quickly to me with no real "reward" after. Story based games you get to find out where it's all going as you move forward but racing games just don't do it for me unless they are just a next level of fun like how burnout used to be. I loved being able to bash the other cars but just racing to beat the other people doesn't do it for me, that doesn't mean I don't see the appeal for other people it's just not what I'm into. I downloaded FH5 just to see how it looked in person but after a very short time playing I had seen all I needed to and have no intention of going back.

So they should’ve let PG make a dedicated mini game with a story mode focused on fast and furious? Maybe a side story, kinda like those mission/showcase events only with mocap cinematics and animated faces

And you still wouldn't be into it if it had some lame story. It is a racing game, no matter what they do you will be racing.

Nintendo's Switch and Microsoft's Xbox outsold the PlayStation 5 during the year's most important sales month

In particular, November is the big month for sales as Americans buy up game consoles and games to give as gifts. And this year, Nintendo's Switch and Microsoft's Xbox consoles are dominating sales: Nintendo alone sold over 1 million Switch consoles in November, the company said on Monday.

Microsoft trailed Nintendo with its Xbox Series X and Series S consoles coming in second place, and Sony's wildly popular PlayStation 5 coming in last place.
