There's just so much doom and gloom over the XBO right now, that when you talk of one game making that big of an impact (regardless of universal praise) it seems more like hypebole than reality. However, 300K isnt a lot and Titanfall will sell plenty of units. There's a BIG difference between the "overblown" factors we constantly read about on forums and what is reality between both consoles. Yet the hive mind phenomenon is at its peak at this point. Its actually quite pathetic. (IMHO) You cant find one XBO game in existence, or one slight of good news about the XBO without it being overly criticized by gamers and gaming websites that only lend to more grey skies. Sure the Ps4 is great but it isnt the best console of the lot. Alot of the posters on this forum wont agree with what Im saying but I dont give a s***--never have. Power and resolutions dont win the console wars--never have and never will. Games, services and experiences have always been the deciding factors, and right now the competing console lacks anything compelling to even warrant a purchase. Better res and being 100$ less isnt enough to shell out 400$ for a console with only a better GPU but nothing else that can be labeled as "remarkable" or innovative. I had that s*** last gen. And the gen before that, and the gen before that, and the gen before that etc, etc.
What else is on? You dig?
I could afford to get both consoles twice over. Instead I've got it planned to spend close to 2K just on XBO. Of course Uncharted will warrant a purchase once released. Even that, now, is a maybe.... These are the words of a consumer, not a fanboy, who cares about where he spends his money. If that makes me a fanboy, then Im also a fanboy Samsung, Hazelnut coffee creamer, Dockers, and Marlboro BLACK ciggs. 'Member dat s***...

The doom and gloom talk is kind of silly at this point. One bad month.
But it could be a sign of things to come. We'll see in the coming months.
In all honesty, even though I own both and am happy with both, there really isn't a compelling reason to own either In terms of software.

How much is "significant" though? 10k diff, 20k diff, overtake PS4 sales, less than 50k?

For any bets, make to clarify what the starting points are as X1/PS4 systems sales were GAF math and subkective "nearly double" claims.
Also, clarify if the gap closing is based on absolute units or % difference.

But just for kicks, I'll "WALK". I accept the challenge because I'm confident enough that you will lose.
And I will tell you what I will do right off the bat, after you buy me a PS4, I will turn around and sell it and make money of it seeing that I don't need one right now since battlefield 4 is not 100% fix I can always buy a PS4 down the road.
But the question here is, how can I be convinced that you will pay up? If I know that you are going to stick to your word then hey, I'm up for it.
