You would know that if you had played it. Which you haven't.

They still look circa 360 with higher resolution.
I have played it and like most see no reason to play anymore.

I played and finished the campaign and no it does not look like that lol you don't see MC during gameplay unless you are carrying specific weapons or are in a jeep/ghost and he's never close enough to the camera for that level of detail. Lighting, geometry and a number of other effects are always higher during cut scenes no matter what anyone says.
As far as the second picture it's not very good looking when you look at it at full size, it's hard to believe that's even from a cut scene of a AAA 1st party game but it's not the same as gameplay there is always something extra. Halo is not a game anyone should be using as a graphical showcase in any respect it's average all around. I'm not saying you are trying to say it's a looker btw and I have the person you are arguing with on ignore so I'm not going to bother reading his responses but using those two pics as proof of anything seems a bit disingenuous.

You realize these take place in the same environments right? It looks no different, fact.
The models, lighting and effects are more detailed during cut scenes that's a fact.
