It's a nice check-mark but I believe for those that made it the primary factor, they are a really tiny niche. Good news for them, they could re-sell and probably get more than they paid for it today. Either way, I don't believe anything has changed on that front. As stated, I believe PS5 will continue to have some advantages and win some head to heads even after the pendulum swings. PS4 Pro has no business winning a single battle over One X and occasionally does and at worst, comes up pretty close most of the time. PS5 has a bigger delta in their favor in terms of ease of development, a smaller delta in pure horsepower than Pro/X in addition to being the platform a lot of devs will debut their games on. Ease of dev and prioritization matters significantly when it comes to optimization. It doesn't change that the Series X hardware is more powerful and has some bespoke capabilities that can be leveraged in terms of ML, physics and AI with the R&D Microsoft is investing in those areas. That power will have to be exploited by 1st party and it will.
