Got the Dualsense today, obviously I won't be playing anything with it for a while but they've made a lot of nice little improvements. The create (share) and options buttons aren't flush anymore so you can feel them a lot easier and the sticks feel a bit tighter too which I like, it's much more solid and a bit heavier than the DS4.

you can, on pc

I just found out my Niece's Father in law works as a coder for Sony on the PS5, I'll never meet him so I'll never come here claiming to have inside info lol but it cracked me up a bit when she told me. Apparently anything he has at home that's work related is in a safe, she said they take that stuff seriously.

Is it plug and play on the PC?

PS5 Comes with an HDMI 2.1 Cable, 120FPS Possible Out of the Box

A nice little detail to take into account when you bust open your PS5 later this month: the HDMI cable that the console comes with is actually HDMI 2.1, meaning that it supports 4K resolution at 120Hz (yep, it's the same as the Xbox Series X). In other words, you won't have to go and buy a new HDMI cable if you want to game at 120 frames-per-second.

I've known this for a little while, but I had to make sure it was correct before posting it here. It seems Sony has learned quite a bit from the PS3 for sure.

Someone tell Rollins :)

Sony is reportedly close to buying Crunchyroll for nearly $1 billion

Nikkei says Sony negotiated exclusive rights to bid for the streaming service and its 3 million paying subscribers earlier this year, and the two companies have now “entered into final negotiations.” Although an asking price is unclear, Nikkei notes that Sony could end up spending “more than 100 billion yen” on the company — around $957 million.

Not yet, but I'm sure this is PS5 related. Sony is basically making themselves the largest anime outlet in the world.

I wonder if games running off of external SSD's will see a noticeable upgrade in speed? the USB ports are rated at twice the speed as those on the PS4 Pro. I know they won't come close to the internal SSD but I would think this console will take better advantage of the SSD speeds than the Pro did.

According to the latest information that our editorial staff received, directly from Sony, PS5 won't support native resolution of 1440p, a resolution that's inconsequential for most gamers, but very dear to PC gamers.
What does the PS5 output have to do with what PC gamers are used 2?

Does the PC have to hook into the PS5? LOL you mfers are a trip.

EDIT:
Will ya look at that,it does in fact support 1440p!

Yeah consoles are meant for people who game on TV's, yeah some people hook them up to a monitor instead but that's a very small group.

Well... It's not like many games last gen went 720p or 1080p either, 900p and then upscaled by the console to 1080p looks better than 720p even if the console doesn't support a native 900p output no?
