I'm having a great time with Demon's Souls. It's gorgeous graphically, but definitely not for everyone.

I'm a little scared of Demon's Souls. It took me a while to get into Bloodborne because it was so unforgiving. And DS being the game that kind of started it all might put me into submission and break me, lol.
I'm starting to get that impression from the vids I've been checking out. But Nioh 2 looks feakn sick so its still under consideration.
I see the PS5 shutdown doesn't require a long press on the PS button but instead a light tap. I was all confused as to why the shutdown menu wasn't showing up, I'm treating this like a PS4.
BTW, love the new interface, just like you said its nice and snappy with no lag.
I have Godfall. Not worth full price but still worth a play through IMO so far. Basic but enjoyable for what it is. I haven’t done any co-op yet though.
Death Stranding is not for everyone. Its a slow game in both story and gameplay. But I got really into the story and enjoyed the main gameplay loop of making deliveries while traversing the harsh environment. I really wish there was a demo so others could try it out for themselves. I think some would be surprised at just how engrossing the world and gameplay can be.
I bought Godfall for £51 (was on "sale") and i really enjoyed it. basic but visually great and if you ever have interest in games like destiny then i would say its worth a try for sure
I just recently noticed that when you look at your friend list on the PS5, it will show a little console symbol and you can tell if your friends are on a PS4 or PS5. Kinda cool.
Regarding the new controller I love it. Not only the feel/weight of it but the additional features seem really cool. Astro and Destruction All-Stars are the only PS5 games I've played so far so probably even better to come. The one odd thing I noticed when I first started using it, was hitting the O button instead of X. Does it feel closer to a Switch Pro controller to me to make that mistake?
I really enjoyed Nioh and actually beat it unlike any other of the Soulsborne games. Bloodborne I also loved but think I just got burnt out by the time I got to the last 1/4 of the game or so. I honestly didn't think Nioh was that hard. Not sure about Nioh 2 yet but do plan on getting that for PS5. Not sure I'd play the first game again although I never did play the DLC.
Currently playing Death Stranding and loving it. Might be about halfway through the game although don't know for sure. I was contemplating waiting on a PS5 version but decided to start it anyways, as it didn't seem like a game that really needed upgrades to make it more enjoyable. It is only 30fps but it's a slow game anyways so meh to 60fps. That said, if I was thinking of buying it now I would probably wait to see if that extended version did happen.

That's a good question. I assume it does but the combat is not the hardest part of the game. Its trying to keep your cargo intact while moving through harsh terrain and conditions. Super steep slopes, large canyons, whiteouts and ghostly monsters are the norm while making deliveries.
It does. I'm pretty sure there is a difficulty for enjoying the story only whatever that means. As Busterman says some of the difficulty comes from making sure your cargo is good. Perhaps on story mode it doesn't take damage from the rain and from falling.
The game can be really relaxing especially if you're a fan of rain/thunderstorms. Just walking across the landscape (to me it looks almost photorealistic) and enjoying the sounds of rain and thunder.

Had it in my cart. Started asking me to select a store and I panicked lost a few seconds.
Was sold out in the 10 seconds took me to hit checkout.
I saw disc came up again for about 45 seconds. But I spammed add to cart and iust got the “teh extra stepz!!!11” message over and over.
Really dumb.
Same deal. Was able to get it back into the cart, but upon selecting location it wasnt available. Quickly cycled through all my local stores, nada.

Dude, Ive probably played more Mrs. Pacman over the last couple of years than any 4K/60 FPS/ HDR whatever big game.
