I'm about a week and a half into my PS5 experience. The only game I've put serious time into is the Mile Morales Spidey expansion. Its a great game, nothing new but a much more refined experience compared to the 2018 release. But 60fps/Ray-Trace is a game changer and so far I believe its the only game on console to offer such a setting and I hope it becomes a standard in the future.
Speaking of the Spidey game, it supports the new features of the dual-sense controller. For the Spidey game it adds this tension to the triggers while web-swinging and I've tried to get used to it. It adds a level of immersion that I've never experienced before. But today I disabled that feature on the controller. The tension that it adds to the triggers was slowing me down when my fingers are really working the controller during high action segments. Maybe I'd like the trigger feature more with a racing game.
Overall, the PS5 does not disappoint. The user interface is sleek and most of all super responsive. The console is whisper quiet. There's not much to play that takes advantage of the system right now but early adopters are used to such things.
