I have the Pulse 3D as well but have only used them a couple times. Not sure I've played any games that make use of of the Tempest stuff, but otherwise seem to be high quality. Played with someone else that uses them as well and mic quality is decent as well. Not sure how well the battery is but it's nice that it comes with a wired option just in case it gets low during gaming.

I'm getting Back to the Future vibes with the dual vent look.

Got my Pulse 3D headset yesterday. Been busy with work, so I've only had a few minutes to briefly try out Demon's Souls and Spider-Man Remastered. They sound really nice so far. Definitely do a better job at height related positional locations (above and below) than my Astros did with the Dolby app on Xbox. Will be interesting to see how the new Xbox headset compares!

The feel and quality seems nice for the price so far.

I think I’m gonna get that headset. You are overall happy with it?
I put in 4 or 5 hours on it today. I've owned a lot of different gaming headsets over the years, including much more expensive sets than this, and I"m really impressed with the sound quality and comfort of this on so far. Battery is still at 2/3 rds after nearly 5 hours. With the time I've spent with it so far, I'd definitely recommend it. I'm hearing a lot of enemies before I see them with this headset, which is awesome. The 3d surround has been solid so far, even allowing me to notice if something is above or below me.

I'm about a week and a half into my PS5 experience. The only game I've put serious time into is the Mile Morales Spidey expansion. Its a great game, nothing new but a much more refined experience compared to the 2018 release. But 60fps/Ray-Trace is a game changer and so far I believe its the only game on console to offer such a setting and I hope it becomes a standard in the future.

Speaking of the Spidey game, it supports the new features of the dual-sense controller. For the Spidey game it adds this tension to the triggers while web-swinging and I've tried to get used to it. It adds a level of immersion that I've never experienced before. But today I disabled that feature on the controller. The tension that it adds to the triggers was slowing me down when my fingers are really working the controller during high action segments. Maybe I'd like the trigger feature more with a racing game.

Overall, the PS5 does not disappoint. The user interface is sleek and most of all super responsive. The console is whisper quiet. There's not much to play that takes advantage of the system right now but early adopters are used to such things.

So far I like the Pulse 3D Headset and its at a great price. I played the Miles Morales game while using them for about 2 hours and it was AWESOME. I also played the Outriders demo and unfortunately it didn't do much for me. It sounded alright but that game doesn't have great sound to begin, even the weapons sound a little muffled but that's just a demo so I'll cut it a lot of slack.

Any of the Spidey games are the perfect games to play to test sound sourcing from different directions. Just stand at a crowded intersection and you'll hear all kinds of sounds from the traffic and pedestrians. The traffic and speech sounds that fade in/out or echo do a great job of sucking you into the world. I need another shooter and a racing game for further testing.

After about 3 hours of gaming with them they were quite comfortable and I got 3 beeps to indicate full battery life so that's a good sign. Since this headset uses a USB receiver and it also works on my PC I thought I'd try and see if they work on the XSX but nope.

Demons Souls sounds great on the headset. :hehe:
From all the playthrough vids I've watched of that game. The one word that comes to mind that best describes it is "Ambush". Seriously, that game seems to be all about diabolical traps and I'd probably have to turn down the 3D audio or risk a movement in my seat.

But seriously, going from TV speaks to this Headset is a big jump. The sound quality is really good and the base from explosions is so deep without any uncomfortable vibrations. One thing to note, if you have bigger ears than normal this might not be for you. My brother came by and tried them on just to check them out and since he's a much bigger guy the ear cups were too small for him. But my bro has ears the size of hands so there's that.
