From all the playthrough vids I've watched of that game. The one word that comes to mind that best describes it is "Ambush". Seriously, that game seems to be all about diabolical traps and I'd probably have to turn down the 3D audio or risk a movement in my seat.

But seriously, going from TV speaks to this Headset is a big jump. The sound quality is really good and the base from explosions is so deep without any uncomfortable vibrations. One thing to note, if you have bigger ears than normal this might not be for you. My brother came by and tried them on just to check them out and since he's a much bigger guy the ear cups were too small for him. But my bro has ears the size of hands so there's that.
My only downside to these is I think I have a small head. The bottom of the ears press in a bit if I don't have them on just right. Once they fit right then no problem for hours.

It does seem like Sony could have done a little better job with a design that allows for a better fit for gamers with different shaped heads. I would have liked the ability to rotate the cups so they can lay flat against my chest. I noticed that when moving to take a phone call and had to remove the headphones, not a huge deal but would have been a nice addition.

I am prepared to KILL!!!!!!!

.....and die a lot :really:
What type of build are you planning on? There are some good build guides on Youtube.

Astro's Playroom is the best next gen game
I like it a lot too. I completed the main quest on my first day with the console, but have been meaning to go back to it to try to get some of the collectables and take some of the alternate paths. They just released the soundtrack to streaming services, so you can listen to "I'm Your GPU" on repeat now. ;)

not sure. I tend to like playing magic classes or fast attack high stamina characters so I’ll probably mess around with something like that at the start. There is a lot to be said for a decent tank as well though.

I'm the tankiest of tanks right now (class below). "Shield Bro" is a good name for my build, I more or less just stand in front of enemies and kill them while blocking.

Ohhh, "Shield Bro" build looks nice. I like the idea of cowering behind a shield and poking enemies.

Probably doesn't work on bosses though but looks hella useful for traversing those deadly looking levels.

Yeah, bosses and the most powerful enemies are the few instances where I need to use other strategies. Luckily my character has a ton of endurance though, so I can dodge and run plenty when needed.

I feel like an idiot for only now figuring out that mic battery level is displayed right under you controller battery status. :really:

I played through it and completed everything.

I thought the core play mechanics were nice, the visuals were fine, and it made good use of the unique features of the PS5 controller. I also thought the music was shockingly catchy as I still find myself singing the praises of the GPU...literally.

However, there is no way I would put it above Miles Morales.

It was kind of annoying to see I downloaded both the PS4 & PS5 versions of Destiny 2. I just wanted to see how it performed on new hardware. But it took so long, now I know why. And even on the PS5 the default version is set to the PS4, da hell. I had to manually delete the PS4 version. At least the game is really smooth and beautiful on PS5 when playing the correct version.

Same thing happened with COD Cold War last week :(

Did you have the option to select the version you wanted to download? I know when I set D2 for download there was no way to select the version. At first I was playing the PS4 version and knew almost immediately something was wrong, it looked muddier than I expected and there was a framerate stutter. This disappeared for the PS5 version.

I did some internet research and it turns out Xbox's "Smart Delivery" really is a bigger deal than I gave it credit for. On XSX its a lot more convenient and seamless when it comes to downloading the correct version of games and save data transfers. I hope Sony addresses this soon because internal storage is slim and we don't need two versions of the same game needlessly taking up space.

I don't actually recall if I had an option. I know I never thought to look for an option. I don't have a PS4, so I just assumed the PS5 version was the one on my game library to download. Then I saw it had ALL these downloads. So I just let them download because I just turned off the PS. I will go back and delete the PS4 version when I go back in. I have COD Cold War for my Xbox, but a guy at work wanted to play COD with me and he has a PS5. The Activision cross platform chat sucks, and no parties, so we didn't want to use that.

I thought they fixed that? I know at release it was doing that and even defaulting to PS4 version. Only PS5 game I think I've had the option for is Monster Energy Supercross 4 and I only downloaded the PS5 version. Maybe its up to each dev?

I heard about the fix from awhile ago. But I hadn't really thought about it. Never crossed my mind when I went to download it. Oh well.

I click the options button on the game title to ensure I'm downloading the PS5 version but yeah it can be improved for sure. The fix was supposed to be released already I thought hmm.

I agree. I liked Astro's Playroom as an introduction to the new haptic feedback tech of the DS5 but I would put Miles and Demon's Souls over it. I do love the nostalgia though as the game runs you through PS1-PS4 classic moments.

So there was a fix, wonder why I downloaded two versions of Destiny 2. I didn't do anything other than select the game to download and then let it do its thing. The only reason why I knew something was off was because Destiny 2 wasn't performing well. I searched for answers online and read that I needed to make sure I was playing the PS5 version which confused me. I thought, why would I be playing the PS4 version but it turns out that's exactly what happened and explains why the download took so long.

After deleting the PS4 version and booting up the PS5 version I was plenty happy with the results. The new problem I have now is how lost I am in D2 since its been ages since I played that game.

My personnel summary of the video.

No we get around 650gb not 700 for storage (so it's even worse than he says)

Controller's are made in a way that is destined to fail(maybe that's why the drift)

It is to popular for it's own good.(but other companies wish they had it like this)

It is ugly and big(that's almost what she said)

GP as a arguing point=fail. PS gamers don't care about GP and most gamers don't even know what GP is.

I agree. Not only that, the minority of Xbox owners have GP. It’s a great option for some, but it just doesn’t appeal to me.

I don’t like subscribing to music services either. I buy a small amount of mine all digital from stores and the vast majority of mine I buy as new vinyl.

Yeah give me Xbox/live/network hold the GP.
