The other thing is people who think this is only a PlayStation problem, it's going to be the same thing for xbox consoles as well.

I'm not sure if the funnier response is that a backup CMOS is in the second dGPU or if they'll just download a new one since it's powered by the cloud.
 
I'm part way through Ghost of Tshushima and I'm loving it. Great gameplay and the story is interesting too. This is the kind of game that is the reason I own both consoles. Not technically a PS5 game but I don't think I would have liked it without a higher fps mode.

Thats where I was at. There really isn't any game I couldn't play through other means, I was just bored and had the money, haha.

I've said it before I'll say it again, Target is easily the best shot at getting one. Unless the process is different, the fact they do online order for in-store pickup only makes it so much easier. No worries about mass scalping and you know there's one at your local Target so no guess work otherwise. It's where I got my PS5 and two co-workers go their Series X.
 
Something dumb I learned about my PS5.

Preordered a game, RE8, and somehow stumbled onto a page that showed me it was planning to dl BOTH PS4/PS5 versions and the content associated with it when downloads went live. Had to tell the PS5 not to dl any of the PS4 version. Lollllllll

This is what Microsoft doesn't get. That one commercial will do more than MS talking about VRS and velocity architecture over and over. They need to do an old fashioned tech demo. Hell even Game Stack was full of old news.

I connected my Discord to Xbox a year or so ago, but I never did anything with it. Totally forgot about the integration.
