Just saw that Halo 4 is only 7.5 hours? So is that not a full game now too?

It actually took me about 9 hours to play through Miles Morales like how I played through the original one.

Honestly hated the idea of a white console and accessories but it has grown on me. Both of those controllers look nice and would also like to see one similar to the red but with a blue color. Curious on what a black console would look like though. As far as I know both top and bottom pieces can be easily removed so not sure why they aren't selling different color pieces already.

The white controller has grown on me, the white plates on the console I'd still like to replace some day I think. I already have two Dual Sense controllers but I may end up getting a black one anyway. That red one looks cool but I don't think I'll be picking that one up.

Ratchet and FF7 Yuffie DLC next month. Can't wait.

Finished RE Village already for this month and Returnal completed early May. In the meantime, more NBA 2K21 and maybe progress slowly through Days Gone. Have yet to try Control from PS+ which is next on that backlog list.

I couldn't get into control but I hope you like it. I love games that allow you to use telekinesis but I just found the character and the setting boring.

The character and setting ARE boring but the gameplay is great, and certain dlc cameos are fantastic.

Concepts are intriguing even if the story itself is lacking.

The gameplay couldn't keep me into it, I didn't care who I was killing or why and I didn't care about anything going on. For all the love Remedy gets on forums I have yet to play a game of theirs that I really enjoy.

71% file reduction from PS4 to PS5 version for Subnautica thanks to Kraken. We've seen many more examples since the PS5 launched too.

This blogspot helps explain a bit more how Kraken/Oodle Texture and the PS5 I/O can help reduce file size and supercharge the system.

"Not all games at launch of PS5 will be using Oodle Texture as it's a very new technology, but we expect it to be in the majority of PS5 games in the future.
Because of this we expect the average compression ratio and therefore the effective IO speed to be even better than previously estimated."

In terms of comparison to MS's BCpack:

"I don't think there's any public comparison of Kraken and BCPack. If there was one an unofficial one around, beware it might not include the affects of Oodle Texture. Oodle Texture dramatically changes the way textures compress; we believe it should always be used with textures in games. We're big fans of the Xbox Series X. Their approach is slightly different, but we're glad to see they are taking compression seriously. Oodle Texture works great for the Xbox as well, and we are working with a lot of game companies that are using it on Xbox, so consumers should see lots of games with those huge size and speed savings on Xbox as well. It's up to the individual game developers, as it's not been licensed platform-wide at this time. Game developers are also using Oodle Texture and Oodle Kraken for PC games; most multi-platform devs will be using the same Oodle Texture encoding of their textures for all platforms, it's not platform-specific. On the PC you don't have hardware Kraken, so software Kraken is used on the CPU. To keep up with the fastest SSD speeds this requires several cores; luckily high end PC's also have lots of CPU cores! At RAD we've always just tried to make the best compression possible for games. We plan to continue to work with all platforms in the future."

Speaking of FF15, I saw it was part of the Plus collection so thought about giving that a go. Haven't played a FF since 13-2, which I guess was technically the main line game before it anyways.

I enjoyed my time with it, so did my gf.

FF7 Remake part 2?
Does seem like the most obvious guess but maybe FFX-3. It really seemed like something they were looking to do when they originally remastered X and X-2.

Seems like the comments from the leaker made it sound like its not FF7 remake and its something not currently known.

Would be a pleasant surprise. That is my fiancee's favourite FF of all time. I liked it but FF7 is still my favourite.

Wonder if it might be a new version of FF Tactics. That's been criminally neglected even while XIII had, for some reason, multiple sequels.
