I feel your pain. I've been waiting for Demon's Souls to go on sale. Its on sale from $69 down to $60.I have a gripe Sony.
I'm not a fan of $70 games, but no big deal, I usually wait for a sale anyway. The problem is the "sales" are terrible. I've been waiting for the Spider Man ultimate edition which is normally $70. Well now it is on sale for 14% off, so $60.14.
Anyway if you're looking to pick something up on sale, they have a lot marked down, assuming you can squint enough to see the discount.

I was reading the comments section of the IGN article detailing the physical disc sales from different retailers. There are so many who are still not happy about Sony's games price increase. Someone at the comments section said something like "Ohh look PS5 games are now regular price", lol.Yeah I'm not sure whether to wait or just get it now. I'm guessing the next big sale won't be until Black Friday.
I'll probably just take the plunge now as it seems sales are few. It will probably be a little cheaper at year end but there's no guarantee.
One thing I'm keeping an eye on is a deal on PS gift cards. Sometimes you can get a $50 for 5-10 off.
Why are you directing the gripe at Sony?I have a gripe Sony.

I agree, I don't think Demon's Souls will significantly drop in price in the near future. Its a hot selling game and I'm willing to bet its on top of the list of games to get for all those gamers who have yet to get a PS5. So it'll be selling well for a while still. Why are you directing the gripe at Sony?
They didn't start $70 games and there console isn't the only one to have $70 games.
As far as the sale.. you won't get Demon's Souls cheaper digital any time soon
I am totally with you on this.I know I'll love Spider Man (played a bit on PS4) but the idea of paying $60 for a remaster and an expansion seems wrong.

The expansion is just as long as plenty of other games, if you've never purchased Spider-Man before it's hard to see a real reason to complain about paying $60 for what are basically two games. Spider-Man isn't just a resolution bump either they've upgraded models, changed lighting, added ray tracing etc it's not like a lot of remasters that just up the resolution and maybe the framerate and call it a day.I know I'll love Spider Man (played a bit on PS4) but the idea of paying $60 for a remaster and an expansion seems wrong.
They are the worse.Imagine being a Nintendo fan. Those games never go cheap.
