How does the Scorpio get around the ESRAM issue on games going forward IF ESRAM isn't included in the Scorpio build? That forwards and backwards compatibility is always going to have to deal with that?
Since launch.
Did you listen to the video all the way?And you are at E3?

According to Spencer, it's close to 5x the power of an X1. Also according to him, the GPU itself is capable of 6TF.
You don't say. I can't believe that there was so much talk about Tomb Raider's exclusivity or lack thereof or determining what angle light has to pass through a prism to illuminate one of Lara's buttcheeks in red and the other in blue, but MS somehow breaking Destiny away from being a Sony exclusive flew right over my head.
good question.... maybe they emulate the xbo with help from the (rumored) additional 4gb.How does the Scorpio get around the ESRAM issue on games going forward IF ESRAM isn't included in the Scorpio build? That forwards and backwards compatibility is always going to have to deal with that?

They claimed that the specs are going to be improved, they claimed the memory bandwidth wasn't 320gb but over 400gb but weren't even clear on what the 400+ number was ie gpu speed, cpu speed or ram speed ie they were pulling numbers out of there asses.Yup. Just listened to it again. They talked to most of the MS guys, guys from AMD, and were basically told the specs aren't even finalized yet, and will most likely be greater than what has been said so far. What is your point?
For anyone interested, the Scorpio talk starts at about 1:06 in and goes for about 25 minutes.
Link? Which interview?I see Phil confirmed that people pointing out their Scorpio video shows 12GB of ram, and even said they wanted them to see that. Interesting.

All kinds of laugh worthy stuff if one listens to the whole video.
Their direct quote from the AMD guys was that 'it's more than 320.' Which l, if you watch the official reveal trailer (which I posted for your convenience. You're welcome), at 3:10 that is exactly what they say.
Will it be 400? Doubt it. That's just these guys rambling and their wishful thinking. It doesn't make them fanboys. They even gave their game of the show to Horizon.
But the bottom line here is it that according to official sources, it will exceed 320. They're at E3, they talked to everyone they could, and it's said directly in the trailer: 'Greater than 320.'
Seems pretty straightforward to me.

I doubt Sony will try to surpass the Scorpio and doubt MS will increase the Scorpio unless price isn't a issue.I don't think so. Honestly, I think MS is waiting for Sony confirm the specs of the Neo and will then decide how much they want to increase Scorpio. 6Tflops is probably them setting the bar low, when they know they can get more out of the hardware.
I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft announces an increase in hardware shortly before or shortly after Neo releases.
Premium price may be in the $399 to $500 range. Im getting my head around that for now. I agree, Sony probably wont try and pass the 6TF specs, but I do still think MS will do by next year and will be able to drop the price as the hardware will be mid range PC specs, versus High end - like they are now.I doubt Sony will try to surpass the Scorpio and doubt MS will increase the Scorpio unless price isn't a issue.

Say, when is Rise of the Tomb Raider coming to PS4?
It will be a launch title for PS4.2 tf
Ups.. Sorry ☺
Can we plz keep ps and Sony out of this thread.?. Thx in advance
It was multiplatform since Sept. 2014. Say, when is Rise of the Tomb Raider coming to PS4?
At some point, maybe consider taking off your +4 Blinders of Plastic Advocacy and stop contorting yourself so badly as to think that any of my posts you've been responded to were even remotely intended to be taken literally. If you don't, you'll screw up your eyes to the point that you'll no longer even notice the difference between PS4 and Xbox, let alone Scorpio and Neo, and what kind of life will it be then when you can't even really notice the things you pretend to notice and care about.
It will be funny to see the hardcore fanboys on both sides flip flop if the Scorpio is indeed more powerful that the Neo. I saw someone on neogaf say that the NX won't be 6 tflops, it will just be a flop lol
