Did you attempt to re-download the game? It happened when I first played RoTR (I bought the Windows Store version).

Very good start to the game, I feel I need my headphones though. The problem I have is my speakers are in the ceiling but with the baby is asleep upstairs it makes it difficult to enjoy the game real loud.

No that's just an option. The episodes can be streamed
I believe you can stream the TV show episodes or you can download them. Download size is like 70GB.
No, you can just let the videos stream if you want.
Probably 2/3's in Act 2 now. Really, really good. bouncing around killing enemies is so satisfying.
When you redownload make sure you don't turn off the store or the computer. No interruption from start to finish.
I kind of reluctantly purchased this game, I'm near the end of Act 3 now and am having a blast. Seriously amazing game.

QB finished 14 hours on normal.

Where / how do you watch them? I had a "watch episode one to get this collectible" note, but couldn't find a way to watch the episode anywhere. Assumed I had to download them.
I only was able to play the first two short acts, but I'm loving this game so much so far. I've been a huuuuuuge Remedy fan since the first Max Payne, this game has delivered for me in so many ways already. From all the Alan Wake easter eggs I've already found in my brief time with the game (how awesome was that video in the first section?), to the awesome atmosphere, to the awesome special special effects, to the awesome story telling, to the awesome gunfights, to the awesome abilities, this game is even better than I'd hoped it would be so far. Everyone needs to buy this game.

One cool thing I noticed last night, if you look at your collectibles in your timeline, you can watch a HD video version of the short presentation on time travel that Little Finger gives you when you first get to the physics building. I hope there's an HD version of that Alan Wake video from the booth at the protest.
Well, ppl should ignore journalists opinion and make there own judgement. Not only for games but as a general rule in life.
The episodes will be show between the chapters. If you got it on hdd it will stream from hdd, or else it will stream from web like Youtube does
I thought this one was very funny because I wasn't expecting it and I thought I could have a drink of water in the meantime and when this scene came up I spit my water out lol (took me a while to make the stupid gif in PS but well worth it imo).
