Everybody settle down. I have an announcement to make. Quantum Break releases tomorrow and it will be the best game of this gen so far. You're welcome.

10 hours of campaign sounds perfect to me anything above that get's tedious in my eyes. I will have the wife get it from BB using the gamers discount whilst I am at work.
I don't usually like third person games but for this I am willing to make an exception it really does seem like a fantastic concept. The videos and general gameplay look fantastic also. I cannot wait, it's been a while since I was actually excited to play a video game.

Played through the 1st chapter. Still early in the game, but it feels like hard sci-fi. Hint: keep your eyes peeled.

Played through the first act as well. Really enjoying it. Looks really good and oozes style. Gameplay is solid. It did take a few minutes to adjust to the quick aiming down the sight transition after the Division after that it was fine. It looks like a cover shooter but it really isn't, it can get quite frantic.
Agreed, so far so good. Game looks amazing. I am loving the story, the animations, and the controls are spot on so far....though a bit finicky at times. I took about a dozen screenshots or so to bring to this forum. However, stupid upload studio won't let me save them or upload them yet. I really don't understand why upload studio has to be such a piece of s*** sometimes. I never have this issue with my PS4.
Is everyone looking for the collectibles?
Did anyone see the Alan Wake Returns footage at the beginning of the game....my hair on my arms stood on end with excitement
Played for an hour this morning and loved every second of it! Graphics and sound are amazingly good, and the gameplay feels very "smooth", to sum it up in one word.
I can see this taking much longer than 10 hrs to finish, as I was just getting to the actiony bit in the University parking lot after a solid hour.

I have all day to figure out how this will work...Amazon delivery tonight with both Quantum Break and digital copy of Star Wars Force Awakens. I reckon there is an hour or so of dl'ing the game so maybe a little of both. Great day today will be!
First of all....F the critics who gave it anything under 60. Seriously.
This game in no way shape or form deserves a 78 MC. Feels and plays like a 85.
Every game this gen, xbox exclusives, got at least a couple points less than it really deserved. Even Ori got an 89 even tho it was the perfect game for its genre. No visible flaws whatsoever deserved a 94 but yeah whatever. This game takes the cake.
When it comes to movies I care about critics and for the most part they are doing a good job. But with game critics it's not like that. It's sad how the less famous or small critics do a much better job professionally than the big ones.
A reviewers job is to act professional and not let get his personal opinion or taste get in the way of analyzing the product. If you don't like shooters then don't review one and if you're going to don't let your personal dislike for the brand affect your professional review. Props to the smaller reviewers out there. I value their opinion much more than the big ones.
This game isn't amazing but it's a damn good SP game. It's probably the most fun shooter of this gen. The story is engrossing not amazing but you can see the effort and love there with a lot of class. The game and tv part is not as bad as I was expecting, in fact it's very enjoyable. The game itself doesn't have too many flaws it's a good game not as great as the hype led us to believe no but not as bad as the average review score seems to indicate. It's definately one of my fav games this gen.
Gotta say the gameplay, shooting and time mechanics are the best I've ever seen in a shooter. Which is surprising as Alan Wake was a lot of great things but the gameplay got repetitive and limited fast. With QB they've really done a terrific job with the gameplay. Very versatile which prolongs the fun for me. Hopefully the next Alan Wake gets this treatment too with its gameplay mechanics. At least we know Remedy is capable.

GAF is having a bit of a meltdown as of now. About a few hours ago they were spreading FUDs from one or two Twitter accounts claiming it's a bad port. One of the posters later retracted and reported that it's a fixed 60fps with max setting, but then GAF just had to conveninently ignore it and kept calling the PC version miserable, terrible, etc. And now this awesome 1440P screenshots come out, some of them brought out a microscope and declared it's not a "true 1440P." DENIAL. IS. SO. STRONG.
Back to the topic, PC screenshots in 1440P. Performance is reportedly solid, great words from 970, 980, 980Ti users. And please let me know if you preordered on Xbox Store and got the PC code. Especially if you are using AMD cards.

Let SonyGaf melt. Just play the game and ENJOY IT. You know....remember when we played games instead of looking at them? It's just sooo much more fun to play them than count the pixels.

He said he thought the smaller review sites were doing a better job than some of the larger ones with no indication that there was collusion to bring the game down by large sites, inappropriate relationships between reviewers/devs/advertisters, or any undermining of scores to get website clicks.

Sounds like a conspiracy to me.
Maybe the small sites are doing a worse job and every Xbox game is scoring 26.78 points higher than should. Wake up sheeple.
It is. But this game looks like it will be a fairly shallow affair. Much like their last game Alan Wake. Which is why I am waiting till it is much much cheaper before trying it out.
Who cares? If reviews matter to you, then you should pay more attention to the description of their experience with the game and their reasoning for their subjective opinion, not specifically whether they liked it or not. Everybody is different. Sometimes the reasons someone likes or dislikes a game are in line with your own inclinations, sometimes they aren't. You are more apt to determine whether you will enjoy the game if you consider these things as opposed to concerning yourself with whether they like it or not.
