I am coming from a Denon 3312CI which was great but didn't have 4K HDMI 2.0/HDCP2.2 and I actually prefer the sound of the 1130-K after calibrating.
As a tip I would put ACL AFTER calibrating as the sound is much more pronounced.
Try Transformers AOE for amazing Atmos sound.
I saw John Wick via Comcrap cable which doesn't have Atmos. Can't watch those Transformer movies. John Wick was awesome with atmos though.
Do it that thing has many current features and enough bite for a bed room.this is the Onkyo I had:

Around 2002 I bought a Pioneer VSX‑D810S 6.1 I sold it for $50 a couple years ago that sucker had amazing sound and still worked like new when I bought it over 10 years ago. Nothing I had supported the 6.1 @ 1st and then one day the PS3 had a fw update that enabled DTS ES 6.1 and man it was years after I bought it and it felt like a new AVR.well I had 3 Pioneers since 99, I sold my first one to my cousin when I upgraded to a 6.1 unit with component switching (my 1st only had S-video switching, yes it was old). But I never really took advantage of the 6.1 as I had no desire to install a rear surround speaker in my room. So I sold it to a friend and got my 3rd and final one. But I wanted a model that took advantage of the high end audio of blu ray (True HD, DTS-HD, etc) and I had a buddy who wanted a nicer than his 1996 prologic unit from RCA. So I sold him mine and bought the Onkyo, fun fact the 1st Pioneer I sold in 05 to my cousin he still has it and works fine considering it is now 17 years old .

I have the 1124K which is the previous years model, I love it!
Yeah this is my 1st Pioneer and I'm loving it, I have it paired with all Andrew Jones Pioneer speakers as well. And 2 subs.
The 1124K was my first Pioneer too, prior to that I was a Yamaha guy. I have andrew jones rear bookshelves, great for the money!
I had a picture of my setup in here but it's gone, oh well lolI'm using the bookshelves for surrounds as well, then I have 2 floorstanders for my mains and of course the center and the atmos modules. So I'm happy with that and my Panasonic plasma until the OLEDs become more affordable.
well currently I have my Denon in the box the dead Onkyo is in my tower cabinet at the moment. I am gonna be replacing that vertical one with adjustable shelves and glass door with a horizontal one with glass shelves it should give me enough space for the Denon as I am only putting my DVR next to it and my PS3 and PS4 below on the lower shelf. My only concern is that the unit is 700w (140w per channel), my mains will have no problem as they can handle over 200 plus (they are 4 feet tall), but my rear surrounds are good for 100 and and THINK my center channel is 120, not sure. But I talked to 2 different guys and they said that that is the MAX power but I should be in no danger in blowing my rear surround or center channel. I saw on the specs for that unit on the Denon page:
Number of Poweramps 5
Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08% 2ch Drive) 75 W
Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.05% 2ch Drive)
Power Output (6 ohm, 1 kHz, 0.7% 2ch Drive) 110 W
Power Output (6 ohm, 1 kHz, 10% 1ch Drive) 140 W
not sure what this all means but it sounds as if it outputs different levels of wattage, if that makes sense?
I always buy speakers that are above what the amp can do. Your speakers are above what that denon can do.well currently I have my Denon in the box the dead Onkyo is in my tower cabinet at the moment.
