This E3 is going to be awesome. So many games now built from the ground up on these new machines that we'll get to see.
 
My 11 year old son still plays 1 & 2 a lot against bots. He loves it.

He doesn't care about how it looks. What a classic and I'm so glad they are making a new one.

This could be GOTY for me. Whatever year it comes out in.
 
One thing they really don't need is a "premium" service. This is the first entry in a series that hasn't been seen in 10 years, if you wanna sour everyones perception of it, that's the surest way to do it.

It has to be complete when it releases, but honestly I'm not too sure that's gonna happen. oh how I worry.

You know they will have it and most will pay for it.

anyone have a guess on multiplayer size?

I'll guess 48 players on consoles, 64+ on PC
 
I don't think I even want 64 vs. 64 on consoles, they would have to dumb something down along the way. I'm fine with 32 vs. 32. I think the more you add, the less you feel like a 'hero' anyways, people start to blend in. That was the great thing about Halo back in the day when it was 8 vs. 8, when you were the one yelling, "I planted the bomb!" or "I got the last flag cap!" it meant a little more honestly.

yeah, I have doubts the consoles will be 60fps. Not looking like that, anyway. Personally, if it can look as good as that footage, I'll "settle" for 30fps for the stupid-good looking Star Wars!
 
I honestly would have went for an average looking game with 60fps, but just give me great gameplay, scale, and tons of variety. I'm probably in the minority with that trade offs.

Seems an odd time to do that. I'd have thought they'd wait for star wars day.

Though good to know that something will be seen. Finally gettin something real for this year. I've been doing nothing but agonizing over release date announcements, single screenshots, and teases. News for everything I'm interested in seems to have dropped off the map. Can always find something new on Mortal Friggen Kombat though. oh hey its jason
