Correct, after the initial few missions (gather blood plague vaccine thingy) you're pretty much left to do what you want. It's the way I play it now and hope it'll be implemented from day one in the third game.So you still recruit and what not, but resource gathering and micromanaging isn't as prevalent? I felt like I was spending like 75% of my time in that game fixing stuff and my guys were always injured lol. Combat was pretty fun, and it was cool to get to know the survivors, but it just left me wanting more out of it I guess.
Been playing it. I like it. Been a long while since the last new map.The Homecoming update for State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition launched today, adding the fifth open-world map to the game, along with new content and gameplay improvements. Players may start new communities or move their existing communities to this iconic map, where they will discover loot...news.xbox.com
In addition to the new open world map content, the Homecoming update features the Trifecta Pack, the game’s twelfth bounty pack, with three collectible sets available from the Bounty Broker. Two new achievements have been added to the Trumbull Valley experience and completing either one will earn players Microsoft Rewards points.
I guess I'll just go about finding more badasses. That really pissed me off though.
You can go back to your old save. You can bring them back and finish your game, riding off into a brilliant orange and red sunset.I went back to this a few months ago and had 3 of my best get killed by a juggernaut onslaught. 2 of them along with one those fast bastards and some zombies infiltrated my base wreaking havoc and killing 3 of my crew. I guess I could go back to an older save point and stay away from that base.
Yeah.....my first go on Nightmare had a Jugganaut rip two of my guys apart in the first 10 minutes. I did alot of running away with my solo survivor after that.My first game in SoD I had the black guy from the start (friend gets attacked) as my camps leader.
Very last Misson I messed up and he got ripped in two. Pissed me right off but then made the impact greater.
