You do not have to be sexually attaction to appreciate good looking people, male or female, for sure.
26 hours??!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?First print. Took a wobbling 26 hours! I will hollow out the base for next print.
Direct out of the oven.
After 1 hour of cleaning.
Gonna take a well deserved short break (by that I mean the weekend) after working hard for a month. In the meantime, I am printing the other pieces.
A small video of work in progress.
I am new to this, so it's more a test video. I got a new tripod so I can make wokring video like this.
I will improve the setup starting with lighting, & I may need to get a real camera soon (record using iPhone 11). But feel free to comment.
Should have more footage if not for iPhone Fked me by just not allowed to upload any pic/video for reason....
It's a learning process. This happens when all of us do something new.Fk. Sometimes I Fking hate myself.
Wasted 16 hours of print & filament & hours of work. I added the star finally but forgot the 2 rings around the shoulder.......
Only realized after 13 hours of print.......
How can someone be this careless?
I have now 3 fail prints (2 days worth of print time & maybe 12€ worth of filament) forthe same upper body subpart. Hopefullöy the 4th will be the last & I can fking finish this project, & upload the STL to share & move on.
This is so hard.
Thats true. Thanks for the encouragement. It's a learning process. This happens when all of us do something new.

I am not getting the supposed joke.
But anyway, I manage to get a good printout. Surprisingly, non hollowed version print faster (12 hours vs 16 hours). Also it's more stable as non-hollow used cross hatches internally which means less hairline plastic flying around that end up sitting on a layer & cause shearing line in the model.
While waiting for the print to be done, I manage to get some work done & finish the base. Took me about 4.5 hours.
On hindsight, I should have given the concrete a yellowish hue to give some color contrast from the grey metallic base. The "rocket flames" were a pain in the S to airbrush & I found my airbrushing skill wanting, but its a learning experience. Almost Everything in this project is a learning experience. But for someone who has never touched a physical brush since high school, I am pretty happy for what I have done, but of course, I will continue striving for improvement.
Also, the nail rack (which costs way less than dedicated fancy paint racks, & hold more paints ) just arrived & I finally can organize my paint. I am going to order another one, to hold more paints.
I see. Yes, a check off list will help greatly.Wasn’t meant as a joke, we’ll kinda…passively, sorta, I guess. But the gif was more of an motivational/inspirational thing, like what plainview said, but a reinterpretation. But the lowercase part was just a suggestion, and didn’t want to come off like aggressive or assertive.
Anyways, awesome progress. Have you considered making a stand or separate one in which you can place your builds/prints to freely spin?
Final result!
Sadly the video does not do the iRL model justice. I will try to improve the lighting as well as get a motorized stand to make a better videos.
I am already tired after a day of hard work.
FixedThat’s firckn epic, awesome work there good sir.
As an artist to see work in the physical world is like an emotional experience. You must be feel relived too
you got anything planned for what you want to do next?
would you ever consider making a figuring of one of our own posters, swede would have my vote….IMO he deserves a a figure to capture his amazingly, epic persona.
How bout one with the two of you sparing?Fixed
