Final result!
Sadly the video does not do the iRL model justice. I will try to improve the lighting as well as get a motorized stand to make a better videos.
I am already tired after a day of hard work.
For the next ones, I am hoping for for commercial figurines to be able to sell for a small sum. Someone/something popular but doesn’t have that much figures on market. Spider-Man and Superman are very popular and have already many amazing one on the market.Superman would get my vote for a figurine, starseeker. Or why not a Spiderman one for yourself?
Thanks a lot.Wow the figure looks awesome Starseeker!
They may have an external pensé attachment for your phone, some that do macro shots really well too. I’m one to say to stay away from digital zoom because it just engages pixels, but sometimes it’s ok…I noticed the images are very noisy. I was wondering why but I finally discovered why. I used my phone to take the image & I have to take the image at a distance & use digital zoom. The reason I did not take the pictures closeup was that it will cause massive distortion of the figurine (fisheye effect).
Investment in a proper camera with the right lens is inevitable. Something to improve. My first choice right now is the Canon M50.

Digital zoom will introduce noise also. Use the longest non-digital zoom you have on your phone.I noticed the images are very noisy. I was wondering why but I finally discovered why. I meant to say digital zoom induced the noice. There is no optical zoom on my phoine (as far as I know), & any zoom is digital. If I close up, subject becoome overstretched (fisheye effect).Digital zoom will introduce noise also. Use the longest non-digital zoom you have on your phone.

Only viable option to improve image qualty is invest in a good camera. Then I can use correct lens for the job. I never had a camera since I started using my first iphone, but its time to get one. I need one for video recording as well. I have like 2-3 GB on my phone so recording using my phone is a pain.
Regular 11 or 11 pro? Either way, you have a 2x optical. That's not going to distort anything.iphone 11
Regular 11. The distorting was not due to the zoom, but taking a picture close up. The noice was due to the zoom. I went beyond 2x so there is certainly digital zoom. Maybe the first 2x is optical.Regular 11 or 11 pro? Either way, you have a 2x optical. That's not going to distort anything.
The 2x stop is optical and there should be no distortion. Just fill the frame with the model and crop as necessary.Regular 11. The distorting was not due to the zoom, but taking a picture close up. That could work as well. Thanks. I never need big pictures since its mostly for use on web.The 2x stop is optical and there should be no distortion. Just fill the frame with the model and crop as necessary.
Also, take it in indirect sunlight. Noise should be minimal. That could work as well. Thanks. I never need big pictures since its mostly for use on web.

Hope it gets resolved soon….post the link once it’s upsigh.....
I tried to post my video to 3Dprinting subreddit but was automatically flagged for removal. The reason given was I was new & it was done to prevent spambots.
I need to wait 2 hours or get positive Karma to post anything.
So I waited over 2 hours, then repost the video, but got a message the video cannot be uploaded as it was posted recently & I have to wait 14 days......
WTF.
I wrote to the moderator & hopefully I can get it resolved. Sigh
I managed to "resolved" the issue. Basically, I made a new video just for Reddit & upload it directly from the file, which is incidentally better.Hope it gets resolved soon….post the link once it’s up
Interesting. Thanks. This may help ya with pics
