Dude check this out. Last Saturday a group of guys invited me to help them with the raid. they had never even gotten past the outside part. I invited my playing partner to help and we ran them through the whole thing. the chest at the very bottom of the gorge three of those guys get the galahorn. I was like f##k!!!!! Smh.

You can't run weekly and nightfall until you rank up that new chic s faction, correct?
 
Are there new enemies? New patrol missions? Sorry for all the questions, but reading the official forums isn't very helpful right now.

yes the new Vanguard loot is for sale from the chick. I can already buy the boots from her but I'm going to run the raid first to see if I get any gear. all of her equipment that she sells will take you to level 31 when fully maxed and of course raid gear will get you to 32

The new fusion rifle that can rotate between arc/solar damage is sweet.

On the PS4 version if anyone cares to join up. :hehe:

I actually called out sick in anticipation of the DLC. :laugh:

Maybe we can run the herioc/nightfall later today. That's if I can unlock the bloody things since it seems that I'll need to complete bounties for the new contact before they become available.

How's the new mission with nightfall modifiers? I assume its going to be pretty tough now.

U2 and I will be playing through out the day just in case you need two more to fill out the team. I'll have to complete them twice myself. Kind of happy I don't have my third character ready for it yet. But I'll need to work on that. Strange coins will be needed more now that we can exchange exotics for stronger ones.

The nightfall wasn't too bad with 3 level 30's and just playing it cautiously, it's arc dmg this week btw. The new strikes / missions are not bad, gives more variety. The music is better , pretty amazing actually.

I'll be working on my warlock to try to get to 31. I have all the gear now just need the experience and upgrades. I might be playing some vanguard ROC (the new DLC playlist) strikes or crucible if you guys are up for it. I want to try and beat Crota's End first before I go onto my other 2 characters. If not, I'll look you guys up.

Cool, just want to let you, Valliance and anyone else that cares know that both U2 and myself have been playing a lot and are ready to team up and smash. :wink:

I need to work on getting my main warlock's level up. Its been stuck at lvl29 for ages. The new armor looks saweeeeeeeeeet!!!! Especially the titan gauntlets with fur. Fur is sexy. :txbcool:

Man, that new Titan armor looks meaty. Now I will look like a walking tank.
 
Im a little disappointed. I finished the story missions in less than an hour. Also it appears that only the Vanguard and Crucible vendors have new legendaries. Bungie said new legendaries across the board. That wasn't the case.

What do you mean? The only other places you can get new legendaries are from drops.
 
this sucks for anybody not level 30

lol all raid gear is usless now.

Played waaaaaaaaaay too much today.

I like the new strike (haven't done the PS4 exclusive one yet), had a lot of fun on the new story missions, and like the new weapons and armor I've gotten so far, but I imagine there will be a decent amount of complaints about the amount of content for the price. Whether or not that's justified yet, it's hard to say (I haven't done the raid, don't really understand the mechanics of the new vendor, don't know what Xur will have now, haven't seen the new multiplayer maps, etc.). I certainly was expecting far more "new", in regards to areas, enemies, and things to see. It's slightly disappointing to me in that regard, but I still would up playing it all for most of the freaking day, so that probably speaks for itself in regards to fun factor!

I do wish there were new trophies / achievements though. I'm pretty surprised Bungie gave us DLC void of those, you think they'd have learned how much people like that sort of shiz with Halo.
 
Well was a good night for me. Got the cool looking exotic helmet with all the red eyes on it for my hunter from two manning the nigthtfall with my partner. We beat it the first attempt. Honestly did not find it very challenging. Got all of my other new Vanguard armor for legs arms and chest. Also rolled through the weekeky. Now all set for the raid.
