Official Thread The Division v. 2

For the last few levels I’ve been using a Military P416 assault rifle. This thing is a laser with really high stability making headshots a lot easier to make. But last night I got a Socom assault rifle with higher stability but it jumps around like a grasshopper, da heck. I’m wondering if there is a bug affecting some stats and how they perform.
It is a handling thing. Put a 15% handling talent on and you will notice the difference.

Well damn I just found out I don't have any exotics yet. I got a second gold or "orange" tier item (DMR rifle) and learned later those are only " high end" items and that exotics are a level above. On the other hand I like that the best gear feels harder to get and something worth getting excited about when you do get it.

I thought handling was about bullet pattern/spread and stability effects reticle bloom/movement or am I confusing this with something else?

In any case, there is something I'm missing because the new rifle I received has higher base stats than the one I'm currently using but performs worse.

This game is awesome. I'm having a lot of fun soloing even though I'm dying a lot. Its mostly because I don't yet know spawn patterns. Another thing giving me problems is the minimap isn't all that useful. It shows the general direction of enemies but its still difficult to locate them in the open world. I'm getting better though. The turret/chem launcher has been my goto skills loadout but I'm going to check out the healing drone. And I also need to check out pulse, that was one of my goto skills in the first game.

Accuracy is about bullet spread. Stability is recoil. Handling seems to be a mix of both.

Just cause you have 100%stability on 2 different guns doesn't mean they handle the same. Evdn the same gun can feel different if the base is different, like a Socom version vs Military version.

Pulse is terrible.

If you die alot ghen use the Hive Reviver, you don't even have to place it. If you go down it revives you automatically. Anybody running solo and not using this and the Chem Launcher heal is just making it harder for themselves.

I don’t bother with Reviver. It’s good and all but I prefer a more aggressive play style. The chem launcher with oxidation is excellent. Then the auto turrent for suppression fire has been working a treat for me.

The sniper variation on the turret is a piece if s***. Unless I'm using it wrong. I just went back to it's original variation.

So am I correct most of the Anthem players have migrated to Divsion 2?

Is this game the 2nd coming of Back street boys we are looking for?
Nah Anthem is selling great...id say people are playing both.
I put it on hold for now though but i put most of my games on hold for D2.

Game is great.

The gameplay is fun, the loot is good. Bugs are minimal. Loading times are nearly zero (even loading the game is faster than most). The sounds are great too.

It absolutely raises the bar for these kinds of games.

You can't park here...

Played with a buddy for the first time tonight, this game is even more fun playing with friends. I found a purple M60 that a faster reload speed. Thing is a beast. I also found a blue sniper that does 3K dmg. Running these two for now.

Wanted to try coop with D-V-ANT again last night because the coop tweaks and scaling changes in yesterdays maintenance, but ofcourse, the f***er wasn't on.

Just got the Chatterbox SMG exotic. Haven't used it yet, but the talents look insane.

again though, why? That 5% isn't doing much for you at all. i'm not saying you can't use the through 1 to 30, just that IMO the tedium of constantly swapping them out over multiple pieces just even worth it.

When it comes to early golld gear don't worry about the attributes, it is the talents you wanna focus on. I got one piece in the early 20s and kept it till level 30. Why, because it had the Calculated talent that gave 20% skill cooldown every kill. It was a game changer.

Yeah, the mods are mostly pointless but I find myself doing it anyway, for the most part, at least for the few that I'm keeping and using.

That first yellow that I was displeased with had better stats, but it had a talent that was worthless for me (either a less than five offensive abilities or more than five skils, maybe strained?). I hit level 30 today, so I now have a much larger range of yellow items to choose from, but funny thing is my three equipped weapons plus my mmr are all purple right now.

The weapons in this game are so good. I love Destiny 2 but there's only like half a dozen weapons I ever use and I use all sorts of different stuff in this game.

It is because all weapons are viable options, unlike Destiny.

What I will say is in end game 556 rifles are meta just because of how easy it is to get the 556 light extended mag. The 762 version is a random drop, which is a shame cause I love the AK.

Anybody know how the armour regeneration talent works? I put 3x +20% armour reggen talents on and it doesn't regen my armour at all. In the stats section it said I had 0 armour regen.

I'm wondering if it is broken.

Destiny 2 shouldn't even be considered a looter shooter anymore. All they do is drop quests for a few new guns every few months. Newer guns are overpowered, so once you get them, 99% of the loot pool becomes irrelevant.

Division 2 raises the bar and shows all the awful things other looter shooters do to keep people artificially engaged.

That sounds like it should work. With it saying 0 it sounds like it has nothing to buff.

I thought that too but then I found a couple of pieces with actual regeneration at piddly amounts like 387 per second. I think the plus 20 percent would apply to that. I don't know if it applies for other effects like armor on kill though.

I am an experience arpg Diablo style Loot vet. Can anyone with knowledge of both explain the difference between these 2, & how is Division 2 loot system more than stat sticks adder. By stats stick I mean different gears that just add something to an existing stats, like damage, or armor, crits chance, & doesn't have playstyle altering or synergy etc?
