I thought she sounded tired or maybe like she had a cold during her opening. She always has a little bit of a shaky voice but it just sounded tired and a little gravely, I actually felt sorry for her but she sounds fine now.

Yang hasn't gotten a lot of time but I like what he's done with the time he's had. I can't take Gillibrand seriously and she'll be gone by the next debate. Gabbard needs better answers, she's too stiff and seems like she's just going off of her memorized script, I know she generally has a deliberate style of speaking but it just sounds like she's not sure about the subject at times.
They need to stop the "raising taxes" talking point on medicare for all, if employers don't have to pay for your insurance that should in theory mean they have a lot of money to give you a raise.

I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination and I noticed it was horrible audio.
This has been very informative, though. Did you know that Biden was Vice President under Obama? The fact is, he was, number one.
Colorado guy 2.0 is on his side, but he hasn't been called on, roughly, since approximately April.
I don't know what else you can do with 10 people on stage. There just isn't enough time.
I wish there could be some kind of Debate King of the Hill.
Get rid of the news anchor moderators and not godddamn commercials. No breaks or station I.D. or slipping in a show promo. No interruptions.
The King of the Hill would start with either the one presumed to have highest poll number or perhaps a vote from the audience.
The debate moderator would then be one of the candidates and get to do that for a minimum of 5 minutes the first time they're up and 1 minute any time their up after that. So for example, start of with Joe Biden who can choose to pitch his platform or call out specific opponents with questions.
When approaching the end of the candidate's minimum time, the other candidates will instant vote on a panel of they that person to continue to hear them out or rebut them, or to have someone else be King of the Hill.
In this 'debate' the stage would be arrange with all candidates in a circle facing eachother instead of the audience. The point would be to have them all dynamically engaging eachother in a rapid fire way.
The only way my proposed Gameshow-ocracy would be interrupted by outside moderators is from blatantly failing fact checkers and getting a penalty.
Yes this idea is crudely worked out, but I don believe it's possible to run a dynamic discussion if a show is planned by people with an imagination who give a damn.

Tulsi went out of her way to attack Harris and to not attack Biden. She is auditioning for his ticket or cabinet.
Biden did well fending off the attacks. He should still be well out in front by the time they debate again

Didn't sound like that to me, I heard it dropping out a little later but at first it just sounded like she was tired, it doesn't help that half of the time she doesn't hold her head up straight lol.
I thought Biden seemed old and confused far too much tonight, Yang had a great closing statement, Gabbard got better as time went on, Booker just seemed like the same old Booker we always see, Harris didn't score any big points this time and may have taken a few hits but nothing is changing the game for her either way from this debate, the rest made no impact at all IMO.
