Yea and Mertesacker was out as well. I really only trust him, Vermaelen, and Sagna.

Really good game last night between Swansea and Liverpool. Have to feel for Shelvey, but a back pass like that is bound to be punished in the top leagues. Liverpool's 18 million defender, Sakho didn't look all that solid either.

shelvey was utterly hilarious last night. he somehow had a part in all 4 goals

you can tell who has that job cause he earnt it and who got it as a favour

Pointless debate with 2 people pushing 2 different points. I know that If i had to pick one of those 3 for my time in their prime it would have been scholes. Sure, He didn;t score as much as gerrard or lampard, but you see the effect he has on the match overall and he gives the attackers and others midfielders the opportunities. Scholes vision is by far and away the better of those 3. His passing was by far the better. His ability to control the game was far better. His reading of the game was far better, and he scored goals too.

Ok, so I was wrong. Kagawa did start, but he didn't have a great game. Fellani did some good work. Espcially in front of the back 4. He broke up a lot of attacks and did some good defensive work on set pieces and crosses. Rooney for me was impressive. Very sharp, confident and single minded.

Have to say I was a little surprised by he score line. I was expecting a much closer game.

The scoreline would have been closer if not for some dodgy officiating. How that first goal was allowed to stand is mind boggling.

Yeah that first goal shouldn't have stood. really not sure how they missed that.

what you on about :| thats the ONLY dodgy decision...

also Leverkusen were lucky to getaway with 4-2, we missed 2 open goals... should have scored atleast 6. they scored with their only 2 good attempts(one taking a decisive deflection and other a keeper mistake)

I'm not saying man u were not the better side but that was a big decision which was wrong.

Amazing football by Barcelona today. Messi equaled Ronaldo's hat trick, and they took 4-0 victory over Ajax.

Chelsea disappointed me today though. 1-0 and let Basel comeback on them. Good job to Basel though.

AC Milan did their thing, but man Dortmund got f***ed big time. They got 1 and played their asses off but I think the red card was unfair. This has been an exciting week in football, I've been enjoying it greatly.

3 games in 6 days for Spurs starting tonight.....yeah the fixture list isn't piled up in the UK at all!

BT seriously need a new team to host their shows. Still not seen Sky's evening show with the live audience but hear its terrible?

Congrats to Hull City and South Hampton for their wins. Now I need Chelsea to win, they haven't been in good form recently.

Hard game at Cardiff tomorrow but the new guys looked very good last weekend so we have a strong chance of coming away with 3 points.

Yea BT's commentary during games and pre/post match is cringe worthy. Sky Sports live audience thing is not great either, but they have probably the best football show on TV atm with Monday Night Football.

Crap day for United fans. But on the bright side, they've now played City and Liverpool away and Chelsea at home. Only one point from the three of those games, but it means that now till around Jan the only big teams left to play are Spurs and Arsenal. Same again for the run in. A hard start is not great, but on the flip side it means a potential title run in isn't that tricky.

I couldn't watch that city v united game. I had to turn it off as I knew a hammering was coming. Why on earth are united playing so slow. Why has Valencia suddenly forgot how to defend. :smash: It was just frustrating as fook seeing Man United play this way.
again.

Oh and Di Canio is sacked after just 13 games.:surprise:

No surprise.

Spurs battered Cardiff yesterday but only managed to score in the 92nd minute. We need to start putting away more goals.

I actually just looked at the side Moyes put out. Valencia, Welbeck, Young and Rooney. Sigh. It's clear he wanted hard workers out there but he needs to be reminded that he's not managing Everton anymore. You don't leave Robin van Persie on the bench for Ashley Young. United's best squad can beat City home or away, but what he put out was never going to win, or get a draw.

Perise was injured...

Valencia is class

welbeck and young are s*** i agree lol

Ah I see. Valencia is back to form, but he doesn't have much of a creative spark IMO. None of that attacking midfield against City did really. Moyes really needs to start giving Kagawa and Nani games. An attacking midfield of Kagawa, Rooney, Nani with RVP up top could be insane.

Dear Mr. Wenger,

If you could manage to sign this man in january you would make me the happiest
gooner in all the land.
