Official Thread The Game Awards this December to be shown in IMAX Live. 2022

I'm completely fine with gaming companies icing out the Game Awards like they've iced out E3.
 
So list of winners? No website I've looked at has them listed. Just about the trailers and the kid proving once again no one really cares about the awards they just want trailers.

Why would they. It isn't like these awards somehow make the games better or worse.....well, except for Valliance.
 
I watched the show at 3am local time, to see Diablo 4. But slept pass the part......Only to just watch it on youtube in the morning.
 
I went to bed in the middle lol. Kept it on my PC for the rewards but as I predicted ER won GOTY 😬

I need to catch up on new reveals and trailers now.

The rumor was that they wanted to keep a low profile with the ABK deal being scrutinized.

Regardless, can I get a f*cking Avowed trailer? Contraband? Perfect Dark? Fable? Guflpadjfapshj!!@!

Don't think it's anything to do with the deal but yes they should have shown something even if it was a new look at Starfield.
Avowed must be in some state to be shown by now.
 
It was weird that Sony nor MS showed off any new games. Maybe they really do want to focus on their own shows?
 
Well the other rumor was that's why Sony haven't done a showcase recently because they don't want to announce the 3rd party exclusives.

They did at least announce Death Stranding 2 but everyone just talks about that being Kojimas.

DS2 has kinda been hinted at for a while and as happy as I was to see it’s trailer it wasn’t really a major surprise, more like “here’s a new cypher to decode…figure it out yourself”

Sucks that Jez was probably right, and MS didn’t show anything because of the activision deal.

I hope this means they will do their own thing early next year.
