The Official: Automotive enthusiast thread

Interesting this vehicle is made by a company in Ukraine, a country that seems to have a superior understanding of crossing difficult terrain.

Seriously plz tell me this has been used in this conflict over there to move troops or supplies.

EDIT: I can picture Zelenskyy driving this

The new Z looks nice, except for being a Nissan lol.

I had a bad experience with a Nissan Altima and was left traumatized. Then my dad had a Nissan Frontier and it was a POS.

It's hilarious, cause my dad back in the day had 86 Nissan Pick-up. Thing was a tank. Had about 250K miles on it when we sold it in the mid-90's to a family member in Mexico. It was then stolen we assume used as a drug mule. We always joked that we were going to see it pop up in a random video from the middle east being used as a technical.

Picked up my 2022 Civic Hatchback Sport today. Got it in Sonic Gray Pearl. After 15 years the technology upgrades are quite insane.
Epic, congrats, great little car, tons of room in the hatch, fantastic colour too. If it’s a manual even better, those things are hella easy to use and could take a beating. I forget if I like the infotainment, but it wasn’t memorably bad, so I’m that’s a plus.

Did you get it with a sunroof? Wireless charging? What colour is your interior?

Oh, and yo, just a single muffler delete on those and they sound gnarly.

I wanted a manual but they said it could be 5-6 month wait to special order. This was second of two they had allocated to them and was just built at the beginning of the month. I went with the Sport model so no sunroof or wireless charging.

I had a sunroof on the Scion and while I used it a ton most of the time, a couple years ago it started acting up so I stopped using it and never really missed it.

I saw something about Honda doing similar. Smaller footprint with only test drive vehicles onsite. All about custom ordering vehicles in the future.

That was practically my experience although it wasn't necessarily a custom order, but mainly because outside of the 4 trim levels there isn't much for options outside of color and accessories. In my case it was about two months until delivery so I'd imagine once supply lines are better that could be lowered to a month?

Just at the dealer for tire rotation and playing on my tablet. My paused YouTube news video just started replaying. I took me a minute to realise this is because the Tech restarted my car, so they would be getting my news feed. I never thought about the Bluetooth range on my Rav4 lol.

In the future, I might leave a video up on my Tablet like this on purpose to show me when my car is being moved and get an idea of progress at the dealer as I see it's being.

Or beam my epic YouTube music mix to the Technician.

Still at the dealer and was looking around. There is a Tacoma sign outside, but half the sign is obscured so I just see Toyota Taco.

Now I'm hungry.
Don’t get the four pot, the v6 is the way to go, both get horrible gas mileage tho. Wish they had the hybrid engine outta the rav4, like how the tundras have hybrid v6s

I'm on a lease and still have a lot of time left, but thinking about what to get next in about a year.

My new job has other locations and I've sort of considered a transfer to near Cincinatti. I would consider getting something 4x4 in that case.

It'd be a return to winter after a long break, but probably not nearly as bad as it was for me in northern Wisconsin. Oh well, almost a year to think about it.
