I want buttons too, even though I like the massive screen in my BMW. That said, you don't need to look at the screens to change things, at least not in my BMW. You can voice what you want changed.
VW is the worst offender, I rented a gti once, and I had to go through a few menus to go into sport….allegedly that happened ;)

I remember renting some bmws and they had Kinect like controls to change tracks and change volume, it was hilarious and super gimmicky but totally not needed to be a thing 😆

Yes, my car has kinect like controls. I use my thumb and move it left or right in front of the touch screen to change the track back or forth. I rotate my finger clockwise or counter clockwise to raise or lower the volume. I don't use any of that though.

Lol right….it’s like more work to do that tha to just press a button.

I thought it was neat on some land/range rovers that the buttons changed on the wheel depending on what action you’re taking/inputting, allowing for more options. I think Mercedes does that too, some have capacitive buttons where you can go through the menu by swiping your finger over it, kinda like the touch pad on ps controllers.

Yo, did you get the ambient lighting?

Hard to keep the vehicle clean this time of year with pollen and what not. But the worst is when there is a passing shower that isn't hard enough to rinse it enough and instead leaves it looking even dirtier. Luckily last night had a heavy shower pass through so went for a little drive to clean it.
