Kind of reminds me of when Ryse won some visual award and certain people came in to poo poo the achievement.

Yeah, even console games on Unreal Engine 3 look better. Like Batman Arkham Knight. And this game is open world.
Not at that time? But the award was given to The Order 1886 less than a week ago. The award for best-looking game of 2015.
But it's not too hypocritical what Valliance said. Crysis 3 did release in 2013 along with Ryse, and that game is definitely a contender.

Crysis 3 *cough* PC looks FAR better then the XBO version of Ryse.
PC version of Ryse goes toe to toe however with Crysis 3 PC but IMO Crysis 3 PC is still the best looking game around(easily in 2013) and I will fight for it!
I agree. I know that award was for visuals in general, PC and console, so I don't disagree.
I have no problem with either game winning awards for their visuals.
I'm just saying that maybe he shouldn't be the one throwing stones in his glass house.
That was debatable then vs TR PS4 and BF4 PS4 all 3 of those games were on equal footing.
Crysis 3 PC rapes RYSE XBO though. Heck id throw in Dragon's Crown PS3 that year as it was gorgeous and 1080p/60fps but art usually doesn't get the nod.

The Order has more of a argument winning this year then Ryse did in 2013.
Not even saying I agree with its win either but I disagree more so with Ryse winning.

Did you see my Dragon's Crown nod? I be crazy to throw that in the running by most but I think we have similar tastes/appreciation of good art in games.
