The Order: 1886 screenshots and previews

Pretty much expected this to be 30 fps, it doesn't look like the kind of game that "needs" to be 60 fps.
 
But, but, it isn't next-gen if it's 30 FPS!!!

Heh, just joking. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. This game and Infamous (which is also 30 FPS) are the main two games that will determine whether or not I'll buy a PS4 late this year or early 2015.

1080p/30fps - its in Tomb Raider standards on Xb1, must be s*** looking:p

This and drive club will be the games I pick up when I get a PS4 for xmas.
 
I don't get the hype for this game. Looks like any other generic 3rd person shooter. Show me f*cking gameplay already.
 
Yeah me too. Just make the best single player game you can and forget the tacked on MP. I like it.
 
I'm not bothered in the least by it not having MP, as long as it's a great single player game I'll be happy with it.
 
its hilarious seeing GAF on the 30fps announcement. everyone is like "thats good enough, no need in a third person", "you wont notice it anyway" yet when people said that about TR on X1 they were like "30fps is s***, you do need it even in third person"

if that was an xbox game there would be a 100 page thread bitching about it lol

also no MP or CO-OP for a generic 3rd person shooter? oh boy. is the hype for this game just the setting? i can understand it if it was dont get me wrong. one of the reasons i was excited for Ryse

The flip-flopping is epic. You got some constantly bringing up the Xboxers doing it from last gen to this gen regarding the importance of multiplat differences when it is happening in the here and now right before our eyes with the importance, or lack thereof, regarding framerates.

Game looks ok, hopefully the embargo lift will really wow us. It needs to with no multiplayer.

Its exclutive, which explain the hype. Its looking good though, but with very little details on gameplay.
 
SP only is fine with me. I actually take that as a good sign.
 
I think a shooter in this day and age of gaming without any sort of multiplayer could be a tough sell to many. I had hoped there would be co-op at the very least. I'm still looking forward to finding out more about this game but my excitement level has taken a hit.
 
I'd rather they build a really good singleplayer. That is hard enough. I think if you do that, people will come, word of mouth will spread, and your reputation will rise, to the point where you will be in a good position to offer MP for the sequel, if you want to. If, on the other hand, you split your focus and spend lots of time and resources on an MP component, you run the risks of 1) having that component detract focus and subtract resources from the SP effort, 2) increase the need for additional sales to recoup those costs (increasing chance of failure); and 3) end up, like most games' MP components, ignored after a month or two. So I'd much rather they keep a tight focus on the SP game.

Of course, I'm largely an SP gamer, so my interest is always in the SP game first. I can understand the disappointment if you're a big co-op fan.

f*** it. I am not going to get this game. A medicore 30fps, guess our PS4 lacks the power. Oh well. There is always next gen.
