No, it's Kermit casting a spell which in this case means he'll shoot you dead in the head.I have no idea what the picture is trying to say. Maybe it's a 'Merica thing.
It's funny.

Look into Saucony's. Those are my running shoe brand. About to buy my fifth pair lol.Managed to jog 3 times this week. 2 times normal jog (but 40% walking as my ankles sored until warmed up), one-time walk/slow jog with 3.5kg (7.7 pounds) weight in my backpack.
Later, will be shopping for a new pair of running shoes. The old one gave way & I believe caused the ache on my ankles), maybe a basketball for some chill exercise when I am in no mood to run.
10k miles? That 16km. 16km in one 1hour 10 is pretty impressive!!! Are you some semi-pro runner?Look into Saucony's. Those are my running shoe brand. About to buy my fifth pair lol.
In related news, ran a 10k this morning. 109% humidity and 80+ degrees at like 8 am. Maybe the most miserable run I've done lol. Time wasn't great, ended up five mins behind my goal of 1:05. Walked a fair amount as it was just that awful. Normally this event is in late March when it's 35 degrees colder lol
LOL no I wish I could run that fast. 10k is 6.2 miles.10k miles? That 16km. 16km in one 1hour 10 is pretty impressive!!! Are you some semi-pro runner?
I see. Still pretty good. Most important is an active lifestyle. Lat time I ran10km was ages ago.LOL no I wish I could run that fast. 10k is 6.2 miles.
Thanks man! Was really happy to get it done, as it's the furthest I've ran since September when I did some serious ligament damage to my left hamstring.I see. Still pretty good. Most important is an active lifestyle. Lat time I ran10km was ages ago.
I have mixed some walking/backtball with jogging. When you are recovering, its better to go slow. Depends on your goals though I guess. My goal is to shred weight & reach my target of under 14% body fat goal, & finally, get that 6 pack abs that eluded me. I am like 25% body fat so I have a long way, but its importnat to set a goal & more importantly be consistent. Thanks man! Has anyone used any of the major job finder sites lately and have any recommendations? My workplace has gone from apathy to downright toxicity lately. I at least want to fish for some offers to get them to pay me more to stay if not just leave.
Last time I searched for a job, resumes needed an envelope and a stamp. Is it worth it to put a resume up on indeed.com or will I just get tons of spam and low ball offers?
If this is for Tech work maybe DICE.com is worth a look.
Indeed and LinkedIn exist for a reason. Try to update your resume and skill sets, plus get "certs" on LinkedIn for added bonus. Headhunters use these sites like wildfire for real.Has anyone used any of the major job finder sites lately and have any recommendations? As for me, I've gotten a ton of interviews through these big congolmerate sites, but never landed a job due to lack of experience tbh. Once I found my first position where I work now I've just been climbing the ladder
Well I know it's not what you want to hear, but might be worth investing some spare time into getting the basics down for whatever languages you see in the job postings. I personally don't have any certs either, but I can SQL and script pretty decently and that is more than enough for my current role. Thanks, I'll check out Linkedin too. The problem is I don't have any real certs that mean anything anymore. I'm certified in Novell Netware, but the version that wasn't Y2K compliant, so not super useful now. My current employer knows to keep us working in dumb, obscure languages that have no value like Perl or Oracle PeopleSoft. I can't write anything in a modern language that is of use to anyone, but I could learn.

If you're working with data I recommend at least putting Tableau on your resume. Seems like a lot of companies are wanting to see that for data visualization.Yeah I can do that. It probably wouldn't be a stretch to even put some modern languages on there. I know I can write in stuff. My company keeps us always shifting around so we never learn just one thing. I used to develop a ton in VB and SQL Server, but they got rid of that and moved everything to Perl.
Congrats on getting back into it! I want to start running again, but I'm too fat and I've got too much stuff I need to do, and...Thanks man! Was really happy to get it done, as it's the furthest I've ran since September when I did some serious ligament damage to my left hamstring.
I rewatched the first movie (The Mummy) a few months back and man that movie is still so much fun/entertaining. Captures that Indiana Jones feel well. Too bad the sequels were not as good.Just watched Hack the Movies on "The mummy" and thought about how godly Brendan Fraser looked in his prime....
What a gods damn hunk of a man, holy hell
I guess the Astros were just better at cheating than the other players and teams cheating across baseball
I just think it’s funny that now it’s coming out that players/pitchers/teams all across the MLB have had rampant cheating or just doing anything they can to get an advantage.Carlos Beltran perfected it in Houston. His trail of creating cheaters can be traced. Lol
