Sometimes it's really frustrating. Things that I thought are simple turned out having to argue over.
Anyway, I was playing a Battle Royale team match with an IRL friend. When he looted something nice, he will pin it, then call out.
The issue for me is, for reasons unknown, he would give half description of loot. He will say " do you need a purple?" "found a blue" instead of you know " I found a blue SMG", or "purple shotgun"
So in the heat of the game, he again pinned something & remarked " you need a purple?"
I asked "Purple what?"
He said " I already pin it"
So I told him, it will be nice if he said a complete statement like a blue SMG or green AR or whatever. If I do not need it, I do not need to look for it.
He took it personally or something & insisted he already pinned it, & I can see what he pinned.
So I tried to explain he already speak, why made 1/2 the description etc
He got even angrier & said he will not be pinned or tell in about any loot in the future so he do not have to "deal with it"
I told him, I wanted him to ID things for me (& everyone else), & It wasn't personal, & its part of playing as a team.
He ranted that he played only for himself.
I got frustrated & just quit the game & made tea, leaving him & another friend. I do feel bad for leaving themselves a member short but I just cannot take it mentally. Why did something I thought reasonable & trivial turned into a ridiculous argument?
Maybe I am too insistent to explain to him & he took it the wrong way.
It's sad what was a nice & fun game turns sour over super trivial points....
